It is family owned. The service was very great. The lady who took our order was very nice and helpful. The food that we ate was very light and refreshing. But very fulfilling. The only thing is, they were out of a few items that my cousin did try to order, but she was very happy with what she received. I will definitely recommend this spot for a healthy lunch.

Patty's Bakery and Bistro was my latest find after a short search for a great breakfast. I was…read morepleasantly impressed to find that a bakery had a menu that offered such a selection covering breakfast and lunch items. The location of the restaurant is not immediately visible from the Main Street. It was tucked away on the rear of a building creating a little challenge to find. My visit was during a weekday morning and no other patrons were inside. A completely empty restaurant is usually a cause for concern for me. Patty's is set up for orders at a counter in the back of dining room then take a number to the table for delivery. The dining room is very bright and simply decorated but spacious for a bistro. I ordered the Grandma's Morning Casserole and it was a solid 5/5 with great quality sausage and bacon. Everything about the dish is near perfect, especially the tasty crispy tater tots. My request for a croissant with the breakfast was honored and it was delicious. This gave me idea to check out more baked good from the showcase. I purchased a carrot cake to go and later wished I had bought two. The cake wasn't the traditional style with nuts and shredded carrots. Instead, the cake was the consistency of pound cake that came covered in a rich chocolate drizzled over the top. Perhaps, I got lucky with my first impression but I'm eager to give them another opportunity to repeat the great experience.

Their…read moresignage outside & their website only says "Patty's Bakery" but they are so much more than a bakery! Don't miss that they are a "Bistro" also. The cashier/barista Laura was so friendly and we enjoyed talking to her. You order at the counter, water is self service from a water station and the food is delivered to your table. I was here for Saturday brunch & got the "special omlette" with ham substituted for the prosciutto. The ham is deli-type ham. The omelette was very flavorful & tasty, however, definitely thinner than I am accustomed to eating. It did not come with any bread option or side item so make sure you look at the breakfast side items (only located on the Saturday/Sunday brunch menu, not the main menu) or ask about side items. I don't have a large appetite & I must admit I was still a little hungry. I inquired about bread after I finished & they offered to bring me some toast but I was already done eating. I had a bite of hubby's breakfast sausage & croissant. I'm not a big sausage person but the sausage tasted smoky with a hint of sweetness and it was yummy! The croissant was also buttery & good. I'd add that to my omelette order next time. Of course we had to try some sweets since there were so many options. We got the carrot cake; it's Brazilian style, which differs from the standard American version. The cake had carrots only, no nuts, a little less sweet, pound cake-like consistency and topped with chocolate. I enjoyed it! I also got a chocolate cake slice to-go. It's super rich with chocolate filling layers made with condensed milk. A bit too rich for me but I'm sure others will love it. They also have coffee drinks and they are setup to do the basics drinks (mocha latte, cappuccino, etc) without all the syrup flavors. I ordered a cortado. Although it is not on their menu, the barista gladly said she would try to do her best. I provided directions on the espresso to milk ratio for a cortado & she absolutely nailed it. The coffee was robust & without the traditional vanilla syrup available, a little brown sugar added made the drink great. I will definitely return. I'll try their lunch menu next time.

Not a water spot. Not a smudge. It looked like caked on peanut butter stuck to it. How that makes it to a table is beyond me. That set the tone for the rest of the night. Service was almost nonexistent. We never had an actual waiter. No one offered drinks. No refills. We drank the single glass of water that was sitting there and that was that. The staff bringing the meat were a strange mix. Some ignored you completely. Others would come by and slice portions so thin and small it felt like we were rationing food after a shipwreck instead of paying customers at dinner. We asked for specific cuts and were told they were coming but never got them. Fajita. Steak. Shrimp. Picanha is all we saw. We were told they would bring them. They never did. The meat that did come out was consistently super rare inside with an over-seared exterior. The steak had good flavor but it was borderline raw. The rest was bland. Rice was hard. Bread only appeared if you specifically asked for it. The salad bar was underwhelming at best. The restaurant had a decent crowd but it was not packed, so the chaos cannot be blamed on being overwhelmed. You spend the entire meal trying to flag down whoever is walking by because there is no dedicated server. For $55 per person, that is unacceptable. Overall, 2 out of 10. Not the worst food I have ever had, but undercooked, under seasoned, poorly executed, and absolutely not worth the price. We will not be back.
