Juan has been doing my taxes for the last 6 years, and I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else with them. He doesn't just file and move on -- he takes the time to walk me through everything, explain what's changing, and make sure I understand exactly what's being submitted. That level of care means a lot. You can tell he truly knows his stuff, but what makes him stand out is how patient, kind, and thorough he is. Every year he makes the process feel easy and stress-free. I'm genuinely grateful for his help and expertise. I Highly recommend Juan to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled tax expert. read more

Juan is the man! Honest, trustworthy and professional. I've recommended many and they all agree that Juan is the best at what he does.

First negative review I've ever left. Wanted to write about this when it first happened but haven't had a chance and still have not forgotten about this awful experience years later. Saw him back in 2015 after just moving to LA. Since I was new in town, I decided on him for taxes because he had good reviews. After driving down and meeting with him, he wouldn't do my taxes because I had an employer who wasn't able to give me my W9s due to some trouble on the employer's end and I explained this to Juan. I told him I knew the exact amount I had made as I kept records. He told that I had to have the physical W9 and I asked him what to do if I wasn't able to get it and he didn't answer the question but told me to keep bugging my employer for one. I was about to leave and he asked, "Do you want me to file an extension for you?" I told him I already knew how to do that myself but if he was able to, that it would be helpful and I'd appreciate it (as I thought he was being nice). After a few clicks he says, "That will be $40." I asked him what for and he said for filing the extension. I was so mad. I couldn't believe he wouldn't have disclosed that to me before. On top of that he wouldn't take a card so I had to go run to a bank and get $40 cash. Later I talked to my friend who is an accountant about the W9 issue and she informed me that he could have done my taxes without the W9 and completely ripped me off with filing the extension (which I felt tricked into). I wasted almost an entire afternoon plus lost $40 to this guy. Run far away! He is shady and a crook!!! read more
