We needed someone to come in and install our new dishwasher after getting some plumbing and…read moreelectrical done to get it ready. Jose responded to my Request a Quote within the hour and had availability the next day to come and take care of it. Our house is over 100 years old so we ran into a few snafus, like an uneven floor, bracketing issues attaching the dishwasher to the counter, and hose fittings but he handled it all smoothly, checking with me before making any decisions we might not have been comfortable with (e.g., screws in our counter interfered with bracketing the dishwasher exactly in the center of the space we had wanted so we had to shift a little to the left). He also reused some materials I had left over from a DIY project I had done to level the washer, saving us some money on additional materials. We also ran the dishwasher before he left and identified one of the hoses was a little too loose, causing a slight drip, so he made sure everything was tight and secure before wrapping the job. The dishwasher has been running great! The price was really reasonable and Jose was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely feel very comfortable calling him again for future jobs!

Before I even get into his high quality,…read moreaffordable, and versatile work, I'll say from the outset that he's been a good person and a generous soul. DD is looking out for me as a person, as opposed to merely being someone who is making money off of my property. Examples: He has lent me tools when I wanted to fix things on my own, referred me to other people to help with my house, given me free flowers for my yard and offered to make me artwork. On a more professional note, he has done yardwork outside and handy work inside. This has included high quality landscaping, taking ivy off of my brick, and planting free flowers in my yard. Inside, he has hung up pictures and other artwork, fixed problems in my bathroom, and helped me snake a drain. The list could go on, too. He can do anything and everything and he charges an affordable rate. I highly recommend DD to all people in the Ann Arbor area without any ounce of hesitation.
