With fear in mind we called B &B Home Improvements and Botar (the Owner) answered the phone and said he would come the following the day to give us a Free estimate and if we liked his price and we liked him he would go ahead with the work. He came by this morning and gave us some great advice for the trim we had bought for him to install. He suggested that we go a little bigger because it would look a lot better once everything including the carpet was put in. He measured everything out in a matter of minutes and gave us a great estimate. We were still hesitant but had a good vibe from Botar and really appreciated his professional opinion. After all, he was not making any money on the materials. So we took him up on his estimate, he said he would get the work done by 8PM the same day! He also took my boyfriend to pick up the bigger pieces of material since we did not have a truck and had rented one the day before to transport the materials. Normally any contractor would charge you extra for this but he did not. He had another worker show up (Aidee) and he was such a nice person and he got right to work while they ran to Home Depot to pick new materials up. Before we knew it the work was all done at approximately 3:00PM including his clean up work and vacuuming. The trim work looks so great that we KNOW we will be calling Botar and his crew back to do much more work on our first home. Good to know there is still quality, honest and hard working contractors out there. I would recommend B&B to any family and friends and to any of you! Their prices are unbeatable too!

Baatar provided so much valuable feedback along the way and some of his suggestions I am still so grateful for to this day, such as cabinet suggestions, flooring details, location for outlets and light fixtures, materials to use and not use, etc. etc.  We came to rely on his expertise and it served us well.  Baatar and his team focus on one project at a time and they do not subcontract, this was important to us.  I highly recommend B&B Quality Home Improvement!

From day one, the owner UE impressed us with his knowledge, attention to details and creative suggestions. He personally came out to discuss our project and even helped us stay within our budget. The project managers, Starlyn and Kenia, were both fantastic -- super responsive, organized, and just a joy to work with. We texted and called throughout the process and they always made sure everything was on track. The crew was awesome -- very respectful, clean, and clearly proud of their work. They finished ahead of schedule and the quality blew us away. It's so rare to find a remodeling team that delivers this level of professionalism, craftsmanship, and genuine care. If you're thinking about any home renovation, we 100% recommend Langley Remodeling. We're already planning to work with them again!

Let me first start by saying if you are looking for a company to do a remodeling project, large or…read moresmall, we highly recommend calling Langley Remodeling. We had an excellent experience from start to finish. We moved into our home nearly 9 years ago with a completely unfinished basement, and we were ready to build our dream basement. We first contacted a contractor that we had previously used and whose work we were happy with but as circumstances would have it and several months later with no progress, we parted ways with him and began our search for someone new. After scouring the internet and reading multiple reviews, we decided on our top 3 companies to interview. In the end, we decided on Langley, and we are so happy we chose them. From the very beginning, you feel like a valued customer. They responded promptly to my initial inquiry and later that evening we were talking to UE, the president of the company, about our project. UE was very friendly, patient, and transparent about how their company works and explained in detail their process from the design to the construction. We knew what we wanted in our basement, but it was the design where we most needed direction. When UE first came out to our house, he spent more time than any of the other contractors we had interviewed going over our project and taking measurements, photos and video of our basement. He promised one of his designers would be contacting us in a couple of weeks because they were finishing up other projects; however, Pinar, our designer, reached out to us within a week and immediately guided us, inquiring about our interests and style. She gave suggestions on how best to communicate our interests like sending her pictures and/or setting up a Pinterest board, which worked well for us. Throughout the design process, Pinar was patient, creative, and a pleasure to work with. If we had different thoughts about her rendering, she would be open to our ideas and would incorporate them into her design. Construction began very soon after we agreed on the design and contract details. Our project manager Starlyn and assistant project manager Kenia were very professional and pleasures to work with. Starlyn was very patient with us and was at our job site practically every day making sure progress was moving along. As first-time customers and since the project was quite large, we were naturally a bit stressed about how things would go, but Starlyn was patient and understanding, and he would address all our questions or concerns as they came up. All the construction workers were Langley employees from the carpenters, plumbers, painters and electricians. We really did not interact with them too much but when we did, they too were very polite and professional. At the end of every day, my wife and I would look at the progress, and we could tell they were very skilled due to the quality in the craftsmanship. I could keep going about how excellent our experience with Langley was, but I will let the photos of our project do the talking. Again, if you are looking for a contractor for your home improvement project, we highly recommend Langley!

Instead our project was completed ahead of schedule, just under budget, and the quality of the work was excellent. And that includes an expanded project scope that came up when we discovered large issues with a neighboring property. Fairmont was incredibly flexible and easy to work with. They were always willing to listen to our ideas and make changes as needed. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns. Fairmont's foreman or a partner subcontractor was on-site on average more than five days a week for the entire many-month project. This allowed them to keep a close eye on the work and make sure that everything was done to the highest standards, and if not the first time, they made sure it was redone. Unlike several neighboring projects, we had no stop work orders, no neighbor complaints (complements actually), and all our inspections were successful. I would highly recommend Fairmont to anyone looking for a home builder or doing a major urban renovation. They are professional, reliable, and they do great work.

It is just about a year since Fairmont completed my whole house renovation. This home, with the…read moreexception of new appliance now and then, was in original 1911 condition when I called Fairmont. This could make a project easier - assume everything has to go. However, I am an old house lover (now a three-time renovator) and keeping or reinventing old house detail was important. Carlos manages construction, the tradesmen, the sub-contractors, and the overall quality of the workmanship on the job. He is an experienced builder, taking pride in bringing ideas to life but careful to offer full disclosure on the pros, cons and risks of each option. Jose manages the business side of the project - budgeting and billing, tracking and documenting changes, purchase of materials, recommending vendors for kitchen design, tiles, stone, flooring etc. Most important was his management of communications between Fairmont and me, the homeowner. Jose took time to ask questions and listen carefully to answers. I know and appreciate how rare it is to have good communication. I also have lived the consequences of mediocre communication. Mistakes are costly. Jose follows a protocol of asking, clarifying, and following up with an email restating our discussion and inviting me to comment, add, or correct. The answers don't matter as much as the asking and listening. This worked so well there were no horror stories. To summarize: Strong management of the permitting process, of sub-contractors, deliveries, security of the property and use of appropriate safety measures. I think its important to say also that the project was managed ethically, honestly and respectfully. Everyone on the job was pleasant and upbeat. Weekly walk-thru meetings insuring the work was proceeding according to agreement. Efficient cascade of information, decisions and/or changes, from homeowner and Fairmont to the tradesmen and subcontractors. A solid team of workers - excellent workmanship, site management and daily clean-up. Also, no profanity or loudness, no littering, no complaints from neighbors, and very happily, no accidents. Lastly, Fairmont checks in with you periodically during the year following move-in. Together we created a list of little adjustments and changes that you can't anticipate until you move in. All done! The house is lovely - beautiful carpentry, millwork and all the details that make it livable for me. I feel very fortunate to have done this work with Fairmont and I would recommend them without reservation!
