November 21, 2021 I purchased touchscreen apple carplay for my 2017 infiniti QX60 suv, which required a $100 down payment that I paid on the day of purchase. The item was installed in my 2017 infiniti qx60 suv on February 21, 2022 which required me to pay $924 payment to complete the transaction on my credit card that same day. Prior and post service installation I was never given an invoice for the item I originally purchased nor was I presented any documentation for me to sign. The only thing I received was receipts that I paid for both transactions. Once I realized that the item was not touchscreen apple carplay I immediately contacted Nate the rep for Dino's Audio. I explained to him that this is not what I ordered and he responded by saying unfortunately it is not touchscreen and you will have to use the stereo knob to operate. I continue to explain my dissatisfactions and Nate just continues to suggest alternate options for me to utilize the item. Nate even suggested I go to amazon to purchase an Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter to use. I told Nate that I want to return the item and had to continue to call several times in order for him to get this item returned, which is the reason why it took from February 2022 to May 2022 to get completed. Once the employees at Dinos Audio removed the item on May 4, 2022 Nate handed my keys and I had to ask him about my refund. This is when he said for the first time that they don't refund only store credits. Obviously this was not told to me before or during the entire process. This policy is not on the website nor presented to me anytime from November 21, 2021 through May 4, 2022. Now I went back to Dino's audio on May 6th, 2022 at 4pm to request all documents that I signed. Nate did not have any documents I signed and he only gave me an invoice which is the first time I received and says at the bottom "no refunds. only store credits''. At the end of all of this I was rewarded a full refund $1024 through my credit union.

I will be telling all my family and friends about Dino's Audio and Video...very satisfied...thank you all very much!!     Pettys was contracted to build a 426 stroker engine for my hellcat in addition to installing a…read moreWhipple Gen 5 Super Charger. I had initially been dealing with Eric Hruza. Eric made many promises on the motor; namely, that the engine would make 1000whp, be able to make that power all day long, not throw codes, and be covered under warranty. None of this happened. What I ended up getting from Pettys is a car with large amounts of metal in the oil. The car also rolled off the delivery truck from Pettys throwing codes. It has never worked correctly and even threw a code where it was not making boost because they did not set that up properly. The best part is what Pettys did when I let them know. Pettys has refused to acknowledge any thing. They refuse to accept a lab report from a national lab that tests oil. Pettys does want my samples which I imagine would end up getting lost as soon as they get them. Pettys has also actively been trying to get my reviews of the shop and work from pretty much every source. I now have a North Carolina DOJ complaint and a BBB complaint filed. I have also had to look into getting a attorney to sue them. They even refuse to remove images of my car from the pettys garage website which is used to show a nice clean whipple install. It does not even fit correctly. It really is false advertising. This shop is not worth the risk. Avoid them. Search the forums for high performance cars and you will alot of people talking about stories that sound about the same. Pettys Garage, using Richard Pettys name, got me for over $22k if you factor in shipping the car to and from them.

I have however been having some issues with a strut tower brace, but David/Greg have worked super closely with me to resolve the issue. I am really impressed with the lengths they go through to correct any issues I'm having. Great guys at Petty's.

    Had service prior of tinting on my car and I was satisfied a year or so ago. I wanted to try again…read morebecause I bought a brand new car for my wife. I talked to the owner about getting a remote start and tinting which he was researching. They offered me a deal for $450 for the remote start and tinting on the new vehicle. Then I found out I needed a OEM part from the manufactorer which wasn't an issue. I will get VW to do it because this place refused to install it. Other places not named VW would install it though. No issues as I will pay retail at the dealership or get someone else to do it at a nominal fee. I then tried to contact them to at least to tint my wife's new car and they didn't respond. I mean just call, text or email and say we are busy or don't want to do your car but no response is just bad business. I guess it was either the bundle of remote start with their product and tint or nothing at all. Guys if you want to cherry pick your business than that is fine but as a customer we can help provide proper feedback about our experience with this company or others. I usually don't post feedbacks often that are negative but I felt this one was merited because of the lack of communication. I simply asked for a car tint and they already gave me a price to get it done. I only needed appointment to bring it in which they never gave me after a few days and multiple contacts. I will find someone that will want my business. I hope this is only a small blimp on their record and that this is an isolated incident; however, if that isn't the case it will be seen here by other potential customers as the issues will spread.
