Avoid Driven Creations Custom - Dishonest and Unprofessional I spent $3,500 getting my car wrapped at Driven Creations Custom in May. Within a week, the wrap started peeling off. I brought it back, and they removed the wrap and agreed to give me store credit since I didn't want to risk the same poor result with another wrap. Fast forward--I got a new car and wanted to use the credit toward a starlight headliner. Now they're refusing to honor the store credit and are only offering a "discount" instead. That's not what was agreed upon. This shop used to be well-run, but everything went downhill after the ownership changed in December. The new owners are completely unprofessional and dishonest. They clearly don't stand by their word or their work. Do NOT spend your money here unless you're okay with it being stolen. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH DRIVEN CREATIONS I found Driven Creations through the internet and contacted Preston Hemann, the owner, for an estimate. Preston came to our Greensboro office to see the RV and give us an estimate. We only wanted the front and rear RV wrap removed because it was cracking (not the sides), and we provided Preston with the original graphics and colors that were used so that he could duplicate what had been on the original wrap (this should have simplified the process). We also wanted the windshield wipers painted, the front headlights cleaned and restored and the black on the side mirrors and handles/lock handles painted. I had Preston itemize the invoice to avoid confusion. On March 4, 2024, I paid a $824.00 deposit towards the invoice which covered wrap removal, light restoration and touch paint and $300 deposit toward wrap. We found 2 companies that could also do this in Greensboro, but Preston could commit to doing this service in one weeks' time and he had a covered garage that could fit the RV and enable him to work within any type of weather condition. He had me pay a deposit 10 days before he started the work. We established a drop off date of March 15 and a pick up date of March 22, 2024. My husband and I went to pick up our RV on May 22, 2024 (2 MONTHS AFTER THE INITIAL DROP OFF) at this point he had not even ordered the Navy wrap vinyl or begun to wrap the RV. For almost 2 months I had been getting the runaround, Preston had been negligent on his call backs and lack of communication, I was told that several people quit, Preston said that he was without a secretary, and that he had miscommunications along the way, I spoke with a disgruntled employee who was upset with Preston for putting all of them in this situation, he also said that Preston had lost financial backing. Unbeknownst to me did not have an on site graphics department, or color specialist and was having to borrow vinyl books and materials from other people in the business. I drove from Greensboro to Mocksville 3 times to look at colors or check the status of things because I kept getting the runaround. It's almost a 1 hour drive from my home to Driven Creations, since we are in Greensboro NC. Every week he delivered fictitious dates of what was being done and when it would be completed. He fell short every week. The entire time I was offering him suggestions or other solutions, but he always mentioned not doing what he should have done to begin with due to money. The final straw was when I drove back to his facility to see a Navy color vinyl that up until that point he was not able to match or even come close. I finally approved the Navy color and told him to get started on the wrap. As I'm driving back to Greensboro Preston calls me and now tells me the price has increased an additional $1500 from what was owed! After reviewing our itemized invoice, my husband and I were done trying to work with Preston and Driven Creations and we drove by there the following morning to pick up our RV. I decided to record our conversations with Preston because of how unethical he was being and I'm glad that I did because he lied to the deputy. My Husband and I ended up calling the Mocksville Sheriff's office because Preston would not release the keys to the vehicle. Driven Creations had removed the wipers and side mirrors then reinstalled them. When we were leaving the windshield wipers were not functioning and it was pouring rain. We had to drop the RV off at Alamance Glass in Burlington NC which was over an hour from Driven Creations. When I called Preston from my car in his parking lot to have him come out and take a look at the Wipers since they weren't functioning properly he first stated that he didn't touch the wipers he then stated to me that his guys refuse to look at the wipers even though they installed them because I called the police. I took a photo of the RV April 18 at the Driven Creations parking lot, both the mirrors and wipers were removed from the vehicle and being painted by Driven Creations. My husband finally told him to leave them because he was worried, he would cause more damage, the mechanic from Alamance Glass stated that they were not installed correctly. Twenty miles outside of Mocksville while driving around 65 mph the passenger side mirror flew off the RV and shattered on the highway and multiple cars had to maneuver around it to avoid an accident. Alex was finally able to pull off the road about a mile up. He had to drive a 36 ft RV with no right mirror to Burlington, in the rain with me following him with my hazards blinking. Right after this occurred, I called the Deputy that we talked to inform him of what took place so that we could file an actual police report. Here i go again and agains this unprofessional bussines man So back to november 3 of 2024 i make a bussines with the owner who the name is preston hemann so i was driving from concord nc to mocksville so that take me an hr to get there so in the begining everything was fine he was very polite and he nicelly explain me what kinf of brand i'll install in my truck to get the best sound posible so i have to say that just the instalation of 2,8 inch subs a sony stereo with a 10 inch floating touch screen,1 amp and 1 epicenter cost me $2700 bucks so i put $1000 down and he told me that he has to order so he will call me when my stuff get to him shop!! So afther a week i call him because i never get the call tha he told me just to find than him suplier dont snd my stuff to him so i just say to him if he can give me my money back and he say not because him bussines policy So i just tell him ok just call me when my products be here so the next week he call me and say you stuff is here you are welcome to come and do the instalation So i drove for the second time from concord to him shop (1 hr driving) So wehn i was there the "technician" a disrespectfull guy was the one who put him hands on my truck so afther 10 mins he come outside just to tell me than the speakers comes broke so in that point i was about to lost my temper but i just chill and accepted that (because shit happend) so preston tell me that he can install the stereo so i say to him yes but omg!! what a mistake when i pull out and play some music on my stereo just one speaker was working!!! So i dont turn around because in that time was almost 6 pm so i just drive to my home So i was waiting for preston to calling me again when my speakers come so finally he call me and tell me come to my shop to install the subs and all that i say before So i drove again 1 hr from my home to him shop so that day his "technician" and disrespectfull guy was trowing everything around and talking shit about the job that he has to do in my truck so he drive my damn nerves so again i just walk out and chill (So i forgot to say that i tip $100 bucks to the "technician guy" in the very beginnig!! To get him motivated but that dont even work he is a real yerk) so when he get done my sistem was in a decent sound but sadly was intalled in wrong way because the speakers dont sound right at all So over all i drive 6 damn hrs for nothing!! (Preston rip me off with almos $3K)!!! Now everything they install on my truck dont even work!! The amp is burn the 2 subs are broke and the stereo is a piece of garbage!! Wtf?? So i contacted preston yesterday 1-22-25 with a pics of my broke subs so the only think that he told me was than he dont work not more for creations driven and than those guys are mad on me for the review that i post in google!! So i am not a damn liar that was what happend so i dont care about him fellings or they fellings period!! I was there paying for a service!! So as a customer i expect to get for what i pay for!! and also get solutions in this problem we are not friends!! this was stricktlly bussines plain and simple!! so again as a customer i have rights So i dont expect nothing less nothing more!! (So i must say that in my truck was a 4,6 inch DS18 installed and 1 amp of 1200 whatts so my existing speaker voices that was very loud!! Also i buy the customize box for the subs from another storage so the only think that driven cretions must do was install my subs,my stereo,my amp and my epicenter!!) But like i say this was the worst bussines that i never make in my entire life i lost $2700 bucks in a worthless audio sistem So i do only ask preston to snd me a copy of my invoice from what i do buy from him just to make a warranty complaint for the subs,the radio and the amp that is burn So i never going to make another mistake with them again so please dont waste your time and money in this bussines called driven creations it's a huge night matter!!
