After revised drawings were provided and framing began, some issues immediately became apparent. For example, one wall aligned in a way that conflicted with a window, and the garage entry layout did not allow for the mudroom seating and cabinetry we had discussed. Because construction was already underway and scheduling was tight, adjustments had to be made quickly on site, something that I had specifically hoped to avoid. I contacted Jami to discuss these concerns, but immediate assistance was not available and my framer had a very tight timeline to complete this project. When I later shared my frustration, the conversation did not feel productive, and I did not receive follow-up communication afterward. Given the cost of the services, I expected greater accuracy in the drawings and some support during construction as well as design assistance during the project. Overall, the experience definitely did not meet my expectations.
