We were told a solution could be found. Foolishly we trusted that they would fix the problem, but 4 months later and we still have no communication or fix scheduled. It's clear Steven doesn't stand behind the quality and craftsmanship. Worse still, he ignores our requests for updates when we repeatedly ask for some communication. The worse thing you can do as a business, not stand behind your work and stop communicating with your clients. He got paid so he doesn't feel obligated to make things right. DO NOT trust they'll stand behind their work.

I have a close friend with a large following who would love to post the video. How much time does it take to say what you've said?! Not to mention you are the only contractor who said what you said Griff. Once you give someone an estimate for work that's what it is. No one asked you to do anything other than provide en estimate for service. You arrogantly said that you wouldn't give me an estimate for work needing to be done on my property ,but would take my money and work on my property..THATS THE TRUTH. You're just making up things that don't make sense. I don't provide estimates for litigation! be serious dude. It's giving that you're crooked!

Despite the current difficulties with finding raw trim of good quality, the new trim looks beautiful and is a great replica of the original. He handled all the challenges of a historic home, adjusting dimensions to keep a consistent look despite floors and walls not being plumb, working around air registers & grilles, and even reforming a damaged door plinth. He and his painter, Louie (Beyond Basics Painting), did a great job patching & painting the interior of the entire home. It looks even better than when I moved in!! I needed the job done quickly to accommodate a new tenant, and the work was completed on time and at the price promised; I did pay more for the rush work but it was worth every penny.

When he first came he painted my guest room And bathroom -…read moregreat quality and affordable. I had him return to paint my master bedroom, master bathroom, laundry room, and my children's bathroom. He did bring someone with to assist him, which is no problem so I'm not quite sure if the issue is with the original painter or the help. The problem I ran into is I have textured walls so I know they are a little bit more difficult to get a good coverage with paint. However, I had to go back and do quite a few touchups and even now a few months later, I am noticing spots that need to be touched up as well. I did not have this problem with the original first job I had him do. This second job was much bigger. He also did not remove light fixtures or blinds or curtain, rods, etc. like a previous painter had done so now when I have gone to change light fixtures, I now have to repaint the ceiling, etc.. It is unfortunate because I was going to have him paint the outside of my home as well, but with this change in quality, I am concerned. The first job I would give a five out of five the second job I would give a two out of five so well average out for 2.5 He did say when he was finished with the second job if there was any areas I wanted him to touch up, he would return, which I feel is great on his part but I also don't feel like I should have to pay someone to come back to finish their work.
