Even though it took us almost a year to commit to a project, Greg was always very kind and patient with us. We ended up replacing our deck and adding a pergola to the front of the house. This company does high quality work. They recently remodeled my basement and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. There are always going to be a few bumps along the way - that is inevitable - but the owner Greg is a man of integrity and did his utmost to be sure that by the conclusion of the project I was happy (and I was). Linda as the office manager is always pleasant, helpful and very efficient too. The one downside is they are such a good company that they are extremely busy so the project did take a good bit longer than expected but at the end of the day it was worth the wait. This summer Wickham's workbench completed stripping, painting and glazing my 35 year old oak kitchen cabinets. It came out beautifully. Really brightened up and refreshed the kitchen. Wickhams subcontracts this work, the workers were interested in their craft, cared about the details. We also had a pantry reconfigured. We discussed and agreed on dimensions and solutions, a draftsman put together the plans and another subcontractor completed the work. This was a family team, they moved the wall in the closet, dry walled, rebuilt the shelves, painted and installed barn doors cover the pantry. This family was very meticulous with painting, wonderful coverage, no paintbrush marks. They also delivered as discussed, took a couple months for the initial meeting and a couple more for scheduling the project, but once the subcontractors started their work, they were in and out in a few days. read more

Overall it was not a good experience. The good thing is that Greg was responsive and did his best to correct problems. With that said, the bad was that he was relying on a "foreman" and Greg was never around. We also found his electrician a bit rude and confrontational. Given all the good reviews we expected much much more. But the saving grace was Greg himself who seemed very willing to talk things out. Greg did a great job on two projects for a rental property I have in Colorado Springs. The first was a fence gate replacement on a rushed timeframe. The second was rebuilding a set of steps for a deck, powerwashing the entire deck, and painting. Getting ahold of Greg, setting dates for work, commincation of any changes and updates, as well as invoicing all went absolutly smoothly. This is a rare and incredibly nice way to due business with tradesmen in the area. I have rated 4 instead of 5 stars as his prices are slightly higher than other quotes I received for these efforts (about 20%), that being said you get what you pay for and the work is quality. The owner Greg reached out to me a few months ago about the work we had done and I invited him to come to visit the house and see the issues we were having with the work. I showed him the work that the crew had done and he apologized for the issues and vowed to correct any and all issues we had with the work. The next week he brought a new foreman in and they identified a number of things wrong that I had no clue were wrong and agreed to correct everything.
