We are very pleased with the two projects that Monte has completed for us. The first was a one day…read morefloor replacement. The second was a full bathroom remodel that required 1 1/2 weeks. In both cases, Monte did an exceptional job. Monte does very professional work, is efficient in getting projects completed in a timely manner, and is able to overcome unexpected complications. Communication was effective, from initial consultation to scheduling, to daily work. His pricing was fair with no unexpected surprises. Previously, we had a shower remodel completed by a firm with that specialty. However Monte's work exceeded that specialty firm at a better price. We will be contacting Monte with our next project.

For us, he filled in a TV niche, retiled our fireplace, installed a new microwave vented externally, and did precise patchwork on our backsplash to make it all fit seamlessly. He estimated the project length perfectly and delivered right on time. His pricing was exceedingly fair, and he was transparent throughout the entire process. After completing that three-day project, I had a small two-hour job come up and didn't hesitate to call him again, he came the next day and handled it just as professionally. I will 100% go to Monte again for any future work, big or small. Highly recommend!

Caution is yiu have a paint job to be done and want it done timely and correctly do not hire this…read moreguy. I signed a contract on 3/2826 to paint main upstairs and main downstairs. Also to fix a gate and build a half fence with gate. Finally on May 2, 2026, i gave up and paid final payment. assuming he would finish job downstairs he was working on and actually cleanup this time. Big mistake. The first week he can he worked maybe 10 hours total. Left one day with trough of paint and roller out uncovered and never came back. I have pets that could have gotten into the paint mess. Then another time they left a glob of wall texture on the floor and one of my pets stepped in it and licked it off. It could have turned into a vet emergency. Then he did some texture repairs which took three to four times cuz it wasn't done right the first time. And they left dirty texture water out wheee my dogs could drink it. I called him yesterday after he got his payment and told him he didn't clean up and he said oh yeah sorry. at the car wash but will be right back. Never showed and blocked me. The only thing Im happy with his work on was the 1/2 fence he built. think twice before hiring!!!!A quoted 4 days job took 5 weeks!!!!!!! He has one excuse or another it is simply a no show. Also says he will do one thing and denies saying.
