I could have saved money on NOT custom. None of the upper cabinet drawings had depths, but we had had a lengthy discussion on depth of which I reminded him, he scratched his head. We had been without a kitchen too long already. I accepted them at 12" under duress he offered building other items gratis - a storage bench, cookbook shelf, etc. I GOT NOTHING IN RETURN FOR THE ERROR, BUT SHORTED ON EXPENSIVE CABINETS. The pulls and handles he promoted from Top Knobs specifically as they would be guaranteed for life. The dishwasher handle had to be replaced in 2022. By early 2024 the same handle's finish was coming off. 18 other handles were fine, but this one looked as if it was not finished properly, just primed. He came in November, 2024 finally to view and measure it. Said it would be a few weeks. HA! MULTIPLE CALLS, TEXTS, EMAILS and WEBSITE CONTACT has been futile. No response to anything. BUYER BEWARE!

They somehow turned what is typically a very stressful process into a smooth and collaborative one. We interviewed nine contractors before choosing Talon for a full gut renovation of our home. Talon stood out immediately as the most professional and detail-oriented team we met. We first connected with Darren in 2023, and his depth of knowledge was apparent from the beginning. He pointed out practical design considerations and code requirements that other contractors had missed. We went back and forth on the scope for over a year, and he was consistently patient, responsive, and generous with his time. He never rushed us and always made himself available to answer questions. We started construction in August 2025-- The construction crew had an excellent work ethic. They arrived early and worked hard - something even our neighbors commented on. They took pride in their work and paid close attention to details. The workmanship was just excellent. The work site was consistently clean and organized. They did a great job at handling unexpected situations and communicating that to me. Eddie took the time to explain everything thoroughly before moving forward. Even when we made scope changes, they were flexible and incorporated those changes without making it feel stressful or complicated. And probably the thing that impressed me the most was that they ran the whole project with integrity. They uncovered an improperly vented dryer which was a fire hazard and promptly brought it up to code. There were other moments like this throughout the project- too many to fully capture here - that consistently reinforced how much they value doing things the right way. I have to mention Eddie who was incredible throughout the entire process. He was calm, responsive and communicated clearly. He seriously made the entire project enjoyable. They were fair and transparent when it came to pricing and change orders. Our bathroom shower turned out horrible. We ordered white tiles in the showroom. The sample tile…read morein the showroom was white. What we got was white tile with dark areas on it and it looks horrible. Neighbors have commented that it looks dirty and one friend said it looked like mold. We absolutely hate the tile that was installed. They should be ashamed to do work like this. The grout work was awful. It was thin in some places and thick in others and they had to redo alot of it. It was a sloppy job! We are so disappointed in our shower!! Warning......when you get your tile, open the box and look at each and every one of them to make sure they match what you saw in the showroom.
