Move ahead 50 ft or so to the refuse tower..dump you stuff. Cruise back to the weigh station to get reweighed, then pay. Thats it! They charge 80$ per ton(2000lbs). I had some construction debris (plaster , wood, concrete metal) that I needed to get rid of and got the run around from several recyclers. Thank god for QUEEN-CITY!!!

If you have to dump garbage such as construction demolition debris for instance, this is all I…read morecould find in the Bronx / Westchester area. I've been to a few dumps in the New York metropolitan area and this is the smallest dump I've seen. It's especially tight getting in, and you need to make sure there's no line for the scale and you are t cutting an existing line. The employees will tell you where to go from there. Other than that it's very orderly and straight forward. It's actually cleaner than every dump I've been to and doesn't have the foul dump odor. The employees are courteous. My first complaint is it's relatively expensive. I've dumped for much cheaper on Long Island, but of course I'd much rather come here than take garbage all the way to Long Island. Perhaps real estate or regulations make higher prices a necessity. My second complaint is that they don't give good notification of their business hours. I spoke to them on Wednesday morning to ask about payments they accept and they didn't tell me they were going to close early that day. Their website doesn't even have their store hours posted that I can see. So I brought garbage all the way to new Rochelle from the Bronx only to be turned away. Looks like you need to call this place EVERY time you want to go there to make sure they're open, lest you get a nasty surprise. At any rate, if you have to dump garbage on Bronx or Westchester counties, Queen City is the place to go.

The owner was great! Brandon paid us a visit, listened to our concerns and within 6 hours had a plan extensively focused on mitigating the spread of dust and timeline for the project. He remembered my military service from our initial meeting when he complemented the Naval Aviation t-shirt I had on...a 10 second conversation. You don't see that level of respect and attention to detail from younger individuals. Needless to say we went with him for the demo and couldn't have been more satisfied. He performed the work with no impact to air quality and beat his projected timeline by 1 day!

I spoke directly with John on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 to confirm start time and details. On Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 8am my contractor and crew was there waiting and Bombace was a no show. Had rented the excavator for only 4 hours but now had to pay for the full 8 hours, doubling my cost. When I express how I felt on the phone waiting all that time John could really care less.
