In searching for a laundromat near me, what sold me on the Tide Laundromat was reading that you don't need your own detergent or dryer sheets. It's true, they have everything you need right there which makes this a very reliable and accessible laundromat. I highly recommend downloading the Tide Laundromat app which makes it super easy to load money onto your account and pay for laundry services. You have to load a minimum of $10 which isn't bad since I only paid around $4 to wash a medium sized rug and I think about .75 cents to dry (.25 cents for 6 minutes and .25 extra for each minute). They keep the place very clean so I felt comfortable bringing my laptop in and getting some work done while I waited

However, at Sunrise Laundry all you have to do is buy a laundry card for $1 and you can load the card by using cash or a credit card which is super convenient. They also have a TON of washers from all different sizes- small ($3.25), medium ($6.75), large ($8.75), and extra-large ($10.75). They even have a quick wash option if you are in a rush. Dryers are HUGE and cost only $1.60 per cycle for 30 minutes. I typically use two cycles for the dryers even with a lot of clothes in them. There aren't "bad" washers or dryers either, they all look well-maintained and newer. The only downside is that you have to wait for the 30 minutes to end before you can add more time to the dryer cycle. It's not really busy to where you have to wait for other people to finish their laundry in order to do yours. I go during the week in the earlier part of the afternoon and see three to four other people typically. The staff is really friendly and super kind. They are constantly sweeping, mopping, cleaning each machine, and keeping things really tidy. They have a vending machine selling cold drinks, including another vending machine with laundry products. Sunrise Laundry has been really great for me and I love that I can do all of my laundry in a few hours.

There's a good mix of washer and dryer sizes, so whether you're doing a small load or bedding, you can usually find an appropriately sized machine. Overall, Wash Smart Lavanderia is a dependable, well-run laundromat with helpful staff and good amenities -- I'd recommend it for neighborhood laundry needs, especially if you go during off-peak hours.
