We had another Pick Three as last we had sometime back: eggrolls, jalapeño poppers and shrooms. Shrooms were way undercooked, poppers were standard Sysco Truck crap...egg rolls the same. At least the latter were not horrible. I'd never pay for it again!!! AJ needs to improve the quality of what's coming out of the kitchen, because it's dropped! Remains less and needs big time improvement!!! Cmon Jonathan! Later on, QB was offered some chicken wings by the lovely owner. She chose hot, and apparently THAT they were! She loved 'em and that was THAT! Fresh, crisp and nicely spiced! Of course as the owner was with us I would expect no less. I didn't want any so I didn't eat any. The girls behind the bar (Jeanie and Maxie) were both fantastic and remembered us. They stayed right on cue with us and had us squared away without much wait. That's the ONE reason I give 3 stars. Came to see a local band that was playing and it was definitely crowded and popular. I think their waistaff is still figuring things out it was hard to get an order placed or pay the bill. They do have a great space with everything from sensory room to large outdoor area to great dining room setup. I only had fries but they were really delicious and I would like to come back and try more of their menu! read more

We went to see a band, Bus Stop. The band started on time and they are amazing. The bar has tons of tvs, pool, darts, a huge gaming area in the privately fenced in back. It's a pretty cool joint. I'll definitely be back. The food is pretty good. I'll get more in depth on the food once I've tried a few more items. The fried mushrooms I can definitely recommend. read more

First time at this new spot, day 37. Loved the number of TVs and the variuos team flags hanging outside. Live music, a couple of pool tables and 2 separate rooms, one big and a smaller one if you want to get away from the crowd. Plenty of parking and the drinks are reasonable. I'll have to try the food on my next visit but just based on my first time here, I will definitely be back very soon ... more to come! read more

After cleaning up from Milton, just getting electricity back etc., Sunday evening decided to go out for dinner.. way too tired to cook. So we go in there sit at a table..10-15" later ( after speaking to a manager) finally got waited on. Well come to find out .. very limited menu (which is ok) decided on a hamburger etc. ordered ice tea. Got the tea.. then waitress comes out to say the restaurant had No BREAD... really. Needless to say we checked out.. paid $6.00 for 2 ice tea (personally should have been comp.)Manager did come back apologizing for not having the staff inform us of the no bread thing. I totally understand their situation BUT should have told us when we 1st. Got there.. That's why I gave them 3 stars . Disappointed at JR'S..eventually will go back. Not sure when.. New place. In the same location which used to be Average Joe's. Looks totally remodeled inside except the actual bar looks the same which was a little weird but still great remodel. Lighting nice and barstools really comfy. Bar service was slow especially when there were so many people behind the bar. Happy hour until 630pm and they had $3 PBR. They are the smaller cans but still happy for PBR! Ordered a side salad to start. Big portion but the lettuce was not the best. A little wilty. It could have been so much better. Blue cheese not the best. Again there are so many great restaurants who serve the best blue cheese hope they look for a better supplier. Or make it fresh . Also ordered the wings. They were perfect! Sauce perfect and cooked just right. Crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. Again blue cheese meth. This place has so much potential to be a five star. Also the band a great touch! Anna is the best bartender I've met in a long time, I make it a point to come in when she's working. I stopped by once on my way home from the airport, and now it's my regular bar. Food is decent for the prices, drinks are good. From the outside it doesn't look like much but it's definitely worth going in, does get a bit too loud at night. So I leave early it's not my scene. They were not having the normal Monday special due to St Patty's Day, so i ordered something different. I would highly recommend NOT having the loaded nachos. First they came out totally burned. Then after the first bite I noticed they were not tortilla chips, but pita chips and the menu states tortilla chips. After a few more bites I realized that I could not eat at all. Left most on the plate and waitress asked if I wanted a box and I said no. Waitress didn't even ask. It takes a lot to disappoint me, but food was down right awful. Not sure I will be back. For the past 6 months, I've been having lunch at this local joint that l just simply fell in love with on day one. The service is fantastic, they make me feel like family. JR's stole me away from my other favorite lunch spot, which was Village Inn. Now, not only is this my favorite lunch spot, but it's my favorite place to go for karaoke, open mic and live music 2/3 nights a week. Especially on Saturday's!!! There's even a Trivia Night. This place has something for everyone, even children. There's even a bounce house and other kid-friendly games in the "Backyard"! Y'all better come see what I'm saying!!! read more

JR is a fun sports bar that accommodates to families with needs. It's a big place with multiple rooms! They have a Sensory room in the back that the kids loved. They have a huge fenced backyard with a bounce house! They have a covered patio with fans and tvs. The menu is typical sports bar menu. The staff is ample and friendly. The only reason I don't give it a 5 stars is because they allow smoking in the patio which upset the group considering we were there with lots of small kids. Not sure if it was an individual choosing to smoke or that's their smoking area. The second issue is they have an outlet on the fence that has an unlocked cover. Nonetheless, we are definitely going back, specially during fall weather and for football. The only pictures I took was with kids on it but the pics on here are current. read more

GREAT place if you like to be loud, obnoxious and rude to other customers because staff not only lets you get away with that, they seem to encourage it. JR's has the most comfortable bar stools of any bar anywhere! The crowd is predominantly cool African Americans... music preference is what I'm told is rhythm and blues. Karaoke on the weekends. I probably will not be returning because when I go for karaoke... and there are about 30 singers, I expect the DJ to keep it moving without playing a dance tune between singers. That is an hour and a half rotation. You can't please both! Decide... karaoke or DJ songs! I also was annoyed when the DJ interrupted my song to tell me that I had to stop playing the harmonica because the boss doesn't like it! What's wrong with adding harmonica to Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" and Billy Joel's "Piano Man"? The real crime was singing Bob Dylan. (In all fairness to the DJ, I was warned about singing that before a rhythm and blues crowd.) read more

It's supposed to be a "kid friendly" restaurant, with lots of play areas. The play areas were there, and so were the regular bar people, who we heard several times loudly drop the F bomb. The food was overpriced, we mostly had fish and chips, one order of chicken wings. It was all so greasy that two of the kids threw up the next morning. We were four adults and six children. All of the adults agreed that we will never go back there ever again! read more
