Before installing the glass, he eyeballed it one more time and realized the database was wrong (glad he could spot that before he took off the old windshield). This was not his fault - he followed the manufacturer's recommendation - which was wrong. He called around and was able to get the right windshield and came by the next morning to put in the new windshield. He came over within 10 minutes of our conversation, was incredibly pleasant as I talked his ear off while he was fixing the chip, even wore a mask which I was very impressed with as people seem to be relaxing with the masks ( I sincerely appreciated him being safe) and it only took 10 minutes. When you look around if your car has crash, lane departure and other safety systems, you will have to have the camera calibrated with windshield replacement. I went directly to their shop in Eldridge which was very clean and organized. They have a small area with TV if you choose to wait. Chris answered all of my questions and even answers the phone. I have been going to Moore's since I had the misfortune of moving to Macomb in 2020. The service is…read morepolite, and the building is clean. Often, there is a wait, but it has a large waiting area. Prices are average for oil changes and other minor things I have done over the years. The location is convenient. The last time I went in was for an oil change and tire rotation. They also aired the tires or said so. I paid the bill and got out to my car to see my tire on the driver's side flat. It was packed inside, and I didn't want to mess around any longer, so I aired it myself. My checklist showed that everything worked, which was amazing since my Windshield fluid container has been broken for some time. I will continue to go there until I can get moved from this horrid area. I don't see much promise from any place around here, and this is one of the better places.
