Yup, not sure about the bad review. I have done this boot camp for a full five week session and…read morehaven't missed a class. Josue is nice but also pushes you to work harder. The class is kind of a circuit type of workout with no weights. I workout a lot and have used this boot camp as a supplement to my normal workout routine. I've definitely seen some improvements in muscle definition over the 5 weeks. Josue's really nice and approachable and has responded to my questions via email.

I exercise frequently and am not out of shape, and I love to work out outdoors. First of all, when we all got there SUPER EARLY in the morning, the instructor wasn't there. He forgot that he had an early morning class. When he finally arrived 30 minutes late, he said that we could all stay for the next one...but I had to be at work by the time the second class would be over. He gave us all his cell phone number in case we needed to contact him. The first couple of sessions went ok, although I missed the 4th due to my son being ill. I called him ahead of time to tell him, and he said that he would check to see if I could make up the class when my sessions were done. Two more classes went fine... This brings me about one and a half weeks into my month of classes, and this is where I get upset... I got into a car accident on a Friday afternoon. My car was almost totalled. I called him Sunday and left a message to let him know that I had some bruising and would not get my car back until Monday afternoon, so I would miss the Monday morning class. He did not call back. I called him again Monday afternoon and left a message to ask if there were modifications I could do for the Wednesday class because I still had some bruising issues. He did not call back. I called 4 more times over the course of the next week to ask if I was able to come back after missing a few sessions due to injuries related to the accident, and because I had not been hearing from him. I left messages each time. I sent a few text messages asking him to please call me. He did not call back. Ever. Now, I'm not upset that I missed out on the classes per se; it is not the fault of Morning Crunch that I suffered a personal injury while away from their program. What really upsets me, however, is that I never received a call back from anyone, and I STILL RECEIVE THEIR PROMOTIONAL EMAILS EVERY WEEK! It's like constant reminder that once I was injured, I didn't exist to them. I feel like this was a gross failure of customer service, and I wouldn't suggest that anyone else give them a try, when there are so many other boot camp services in our area.

I first tried a free class one Saturday and then signed up for a two week trial which included an orientation with a coach to understand my baseline fitness and goals and help answer any questions. After the two weeks, had a check-in with a coach to see our progress and chat through future plans for our fitness journey. The coaches and staff at TruFit are awesome and have cultivated a great community. The equipment is great (especially if you're training for HYROX, they have all the stations), the gym is clean and spacious and has an outdoor space which I appreciate so it's never stinky. I love seeing the workouts before class so I know what to expect walking in. And as someone who has zero upper body strength, I appreciate the coaches for being able to help modify the workout to my level when I struggle but also push me to get stronger. If you're considering joining, just do it

It's been 4 weeks since I started here at The Most Hated Gym and I have to say, it's been a great…read moreexperience so far. First week was an intro. After that it was, are you in? I was in. Mike, Gautam, James have really eased me in to a type of training that is new to me. It is unlike any other experience I've had. Mike checks up on me! Yes! He'll text "how are you feeling?" "Are you sore?" It really helped me because it's at that beginning stage your like, I didn't do much, but I feel it and... did I really have a muscle there? Can I do this? Well, Mike cares, I need to show up to the next session... and, sure enough, I showed up. Even when I told my mom she was like, "you are still continuing? Good for you!!!" (Guilt works for the first few weeks but then You just want to go. It becomes habit). For a person who is currently out of shape, I'm doing things I remember was easy when I was in high school (jump rope, squats, sit ups) and now at 42 I'm like, "You want me to do what?!" I'm not at the level like those who have been coming to class for months/years, but I'm getting there. Little by little I have felt improvement! Jump rope slapped my face, now I can do 25 without getting tangled. What one thinks is intimidating is eased by the attention I get from them on my form. The trainers are paying attention. Even though you are working out with others, you definitely feel like you are in a one on one training. Everyone is of all shapes, age, and level. Not once have I felt judged. Guaranteed, you will end the hour in a sweat. Also, being very new, I wanted to educate myself on how to eat, my form, even sitting at a desk job all day since my lower back has been killing me. I was emailed info on how to eat, had my form corrected when I was doing it wrong and learned how to stretch so my lower back issue is minimized, if not, go away. Even when I couldn't get up, I got a helping hand. These group of trainers TRULY love what they do and are there to support you and keep you motivated. They are all high energy and they really set the tone of going the extra mile because YOU want to. You are not in an environment to want to make excuses for yourself. I know, if I was in any other environment, I'd be like, "I need to stop." Where as here, I'm like, "You know, I think I can handle another round." This has become my place 3 days a week and hopefully, 5 days. What's great is that they will tell me where my level is at and instruct me. I even shared my goal of wanting to do the Spartan Race. Eventhough it was my hidden secret of wanting to do it, Mike was like, LET'S DO IT!!!! The fact he got excited on my little secret has given me the confidence that I'm not alone in a hefty goal and he's willing to help me achieve it. Like its even possible. The thought that my out of shape body can possibly participate... WOW! BEST ENVIRONMENT AND SUPPORT EVER! So, in this journey, my next post will be when I make it there. 12/9/2017. Till then!

Michael and Alison were both incredibly wonderful. They pushed me and the other attendants to high levels of health and fitness. After one month only I have seen very Impressive results! If you want a personal vibe, and a great place to workout with people who know and care about what you do and how you do it, and push you to your next level, this is the gym for you! I started off taking personal training sessions with Mike and he slowly integrated me into his morning classes. It's been two months and I've already seen small changes. If you're looking for a personal trainer who brings energy, expertise, and a genuine love for what he does, Mike is your guy. From the second you walk into a session, his loud and fun personality fills the room -- you can't help but get hyped up. He's serious about form, technique, and pushing you to hit your goals. Mike is passionate about training. You can see and feel how much he cares. He's not just counting reps -- he's coaching, motivating, correcting, and celebrating every bit of progress with you. Every workout is challenging but tailored, and he always finds a way to make it fun. If you want someone who's going to make you laugh and sweat -- while actually making progress -- Mike's the trainer to go with. Highly recommend!

But my experience yesterday left me completely disappointed and unlikely to return. I arrived 15 minutes late and was told by Edwin (the director) that I couldn't join. I understand punctuality is important, but I've regularly seen other members arrive late, sometimes well into the workout, and they've always been allowed to quietly join a station. This has happened many times and has never been an issue. When I explained this, Edwin first said he'd "make an exception this one time" but immediately changed his mind and refused me entry. He said his members know this policy. I'm not a member of this studio and this policy is not listed in ClassPass. When I pointed this out, he just blamed ClassPass instead of offering any solution or consideration. The whole interaction felt dismissive, inconsistent, and showed no real care for a loyal attendee who is not officially club member. It turned what was normally a positive experience into something so unpleasant that I don't feel like coming back
