Ivan arrived on time and ready to tackle my unique project: removing a stone fire pit from my backyard. The previous home owner installed it so I had no idea how heavy it was or the best way to remove it. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! Prior to committing to the job, Ivan answered quite a few questions that I had. He was prompt and very open with his communication. He got the job! I had bids from two other companies. Ivan and his partner were fabulous. Arrived right on time. Assessed the job and gave me a quote. The price was reasonable for the amount of junk that needed to be removed. They also took hazardous waste (paint, batteries, and an old laptop). They worked nonstop. Very personable, polite, and professional. They cleaned everything completely. No scraps left behind. The clean-up was impeccable. I didn't need to do a thing after they left. I don't normally give 5 star reviews but .... My experience with Ivan was so easy I already scheduled for him to return!!! Ivan was transparent with his price which is very much appreciated. Communication was a breeze, scheduling was easy and quick response time. We requested many quotes to clear out a garage with 40 years of living for my parents. That alone is overwhelming. Finding someone to haul it was another. On the day of, he was prompt and it took no time loading the truck and was able to clear out half the garage in less than an hour. My dad still had to go through the other half so before Ivan left I scheduled him to return the following week. read more

Eric and Paul communicated the timeline and project steps well, and we were happy with the overall process. They handled all the aspects of communication with the City of LA Grading department and were on top of any issues that came up. Removing a pool and regrading the hillside is messy work, but they cleaned up after completing everything. And the crew kept the work site tidy at the end of each day. All team members at the job site were friendly and thoughtful.

Both had masks on!) He promptly furnished a quote (he was the second to bid, and was the middle of the three bids). What convinced me to go with them was this: When they came to review the job, I had a reference sheet from City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety...and Mark said that they build to a much higher standard, and described including more rebar than the city requires, etc. He also talked about specifically matching the existing wall. His priorities seemed to match ours. Mark had said that they would be showing up at 7AM on the appointed day, and texted me at 7 to tell me that they would be 10 minutes late. I really appreciated that, as I had recently used a contractor who showed up when they chose to show up. Wall Brothers is clearly client-focused. Mark said that the job would be 3-4 days, and it was done in under 3. New wall matches the existing wall (and it's not a standard concrete block size) well. Crew was friendly and accessible throughout the job. There was a small miscommunication that was quickly corrected without incident, another measure of a good firm. Finally, each day, the crew left the site cleaned up. When the job was completed, one of the crew remained to clean up the site, and other than the new wall, you would not know a construction crew had been here this week! I'm entirely comfortable referring Wall Brothers Construction for their concrete/masonry work, and will certainly be calling them again as needed.
