For literally a couple years, our previous HVAC company serviced the unit twice a year, came out for additional service calls, nodded thoughtfully at the equipment... and somehow never fixed the actual problem. We eventually accepted our fate and furnished the guesthouse with a space heater, a fan, and what can only be described as climate-related trust issues. Then came Adam Eck HVAC. They were easy to schedule, showed up on time (already a miracle these days), communicated clearly, and actually diagnosed and fixed the issue. Apparently the system was capable of heating and cooling all along. Who knew. They've now taken over our biannual HVAC maintenance for the entire property and did a fantastic job with that as well - thorough, professional, efficient, and easy to work with. Now the guesthouse works consistently, our guests no longer need to dress in layers "just in case," and the portable heater has retired. Adam and Kim both responded to my complaint and hand delivered a refund of the credit card processing fee the next yesterday morning and explained to me that they had implemented a new software program, which had a few bugs in it. They also honored a contract price that we had entered when they did my fall furnace check up. As far as their new service price goes, I can understand how the cost of everything has gone up. Adam and Kim run a first class business. They care about their customers and they do great work. They are committed to fixing their new system and stand by whatever they do.

When I contacted them again, they sent a second technician who told me I needed to replace the entire system for $10,000. I then contacted another HVAC company for a second opinion. They confirmed there was nothing wrong with the system. The problem was a small pump, which I replaced, and the AC now works perfectly. Bell Products took $902, fixed nothing, and then tried to sell me a completely unnecessary $10,000 replacement. In my opinion, this is dishonest and unethical. This company appears far more interested in selling expensive new systems than repairing what can easily be fixed for a fraction of the cost. This experience caused me significant anxiety, and I would not recommend Bell Products to anyone. I am requesting a full refund of the $902 I was charged for a misdiagnosis and no repair. Charging for work that did not fix the problem and then pushing an unnecessary replacement raises serious concerns under consumer protection laws. I expect Bell Products to address this promptly and refund the charge.
