I purchased a stamp and asked her to mail an envelope containing an invoice. The transaction went smoothly. About 15 minutes after leaving, she courteously called to inform me that I had left a copy of the invoice behind. I appreciated the call and asked if she could place the invoice in my mailbox for pickup the following Saturday, as I regularly check my mail then. She agreed, and we ended the conversation. The issue arose when I later followed up with the vendor to confirm payment. Unfortunately, I was informed that they had not received the invoice, which led to the cancellation of my account. Concerned, I contacted the location last Saturday to speak directly with the staff member who assisted me. I understand Saturdays can be busy, and the team may have been overwhelmed; however, I was very disappointed by the hostile and dismissive tone I received during the call. When I inquired about whether the envelope was mailed and if my invoice had been placed in the mailbox as requested, the employee responded angrily and could not provide a clear answer. Her tone indicated frustration, and when I asked to speak with a manager, she abruptly stated the manager was unavailable until Monday through Friday--then hung up on me. This occurred around 2:45 PM, even though the store remains open until 3:00 PM. The purpose of this message is to formally raise this concern in the hope that it will be addressed appropriately.
