Even oil changes cost a bit more here. - At our last visit, we scheduled our oil change, dropped it off the day before, and it still took all day the following day before the service was completed. Not having a car all day for a regular oil change is not great. For me, it can be worth it for some services, but know that you will be paying a bit more and may not get the fastest completion of services.

They even had an option to reserve transportation to and from the shop. I got a text when my car was ready and a link to the inspection results along with a breakdown of any future work needed, talk about convenience. The woman I worked with at the shop was also friendly and reminded me how close they are to Short North, so you can easily walk to grab food or shop while waiting on your car. I have gone to this shop for more than several years on a recommendation from other customers. My own experiences have been nothing but favorable! Example: On a summer day, first day of vacation, I filled my gas tank to the top for the long drive ahead, and out of nowhere gas came pouring out from underneath my car! You can imagine my heart sank to my feet! Day #1 of vacation of a long car drive and my tank is leaking that bad! I drop up the street to Bernies, no appointment, ran in and told them my horrible problem. After a very short wait and regrouping my trip in my mind over and over a mechanic came out. I told him what happened, answered a few questions, he dropped to the parking lot ground, look up in there with a flashlight and checked things out. Turns out since I never ever filled it up all the way, and it was an older car, the very top of the tank had a small hole. The mechanic put me at ease and said "This car is old, it's up to you to replace the gas tank at this point, or you could just not fill it up to the very top any more and consider getting another car soon with all the other parts that will be going as well." WOW! What?! I could have kissed him! I would not have known I didn't need a new gas tank right then and there to keep driving it. My vacation time and money could have been wrecked! Such honesty, lack of seizing an opportunity to gauge me financially and also ruin my vacation, well you do not find that anywhere. You just don't. I have been loyal ever since.

Two months later I opened the hood up for an oil change and I noticed resistance. It wasn't until later that I noticed the corner of the hood was bent because it was so badly aligned. If it didn't take me so long to notice it, I would've taken it back. I won't take another vehicle here for repair. This is the second vehicle we have taken here that had inferior workmanship done to it.

The other auto shop said it was this price because the part was hard to find (I drive a Toyota Camry--not exactly exotic). I thought this was extremely high, so I called Clark Auto Repair for a second opinion. Sure enough, they quoted me only $250 for the part and installation. He also said that the part was very easy to find and could be purchased from any auto parts store (I believe the one they bought for my car was from Napa Auto Parts). He even apologized for the other repair shop for trying to take advantage of me for being a young woman. The repair was quick and easy and everything is working great!
