Great selection at this place. Was on business trip and not expecting such top shelf sticks in one place. many of Foundation and liga Pravada brands. Even found a ALR rocky patel 60. Reasonably priced and service was fantastic. I will return. read more

It has the best selection of any tobacco shop that I have seen in the country except for JR's in N. Carolina! Anything you could want!

Great service, selection, and friendly staff. I walked in needing some help and the young man offered me several options. Then Mr. Davis assisted me with another issue. He is truly first-class! Not sure why they have bad reviews. They must not be from people who have actually visited the Clayton store. read more

The store is great! The bad reviews are for the website only. Don't confuse the two. Prices are good and they carry a variety of quality products. read more

I see a lot of bad reviews do to shipping and discount code issues. Just to let people know that a lot of these cigar companies will not let you get discount on n there products, it's not Jr fault. You have to read the guidelines and it will tell you what companies do and don't. As for shipping I've never had a problem, I've always gotten my items within 2 to 5 days. Not bad if you ask me, companies used to take weeks. And one more thing some of the deals on here are damn good, haven't seen better ones online yet. Thanks JR I e learned a lot more about cigars and there backgr ounds because of you read more

I was hesitant to order after reading so many bad reviews, but I decided to give them a shot. I ordered online and though it started off a little rough, it became a good experience. My online order would not go through .and the total was not matching. I made a call to the customer service line and the gentleman helped me get through it. After about a 10 minute conversation a problem solving he was able to process my order and apply the special coupon I was trying to use. He also provided me another $20 off on top of it for my troubles. I received my package three days later. Exactly on schedule for the tracking provided. My order was correct, the cigars were fresh and smoked great. I will be ordering from them again. And hope that my experiences continue to be positive as I become a JR cigars member. read more

Recent order from Jr. cigar. The loose 6 pack they included with my box order has a hole in the first 2 cigars that I've smoked. First order didn't have this problem. But uninjoyable now nonetheless. read more

I bought an order of cigars they sent what was a promo soaked with liquid I have been a customer for a long time and asked them to send me a new pack but the supervisor said no ill give you %10 off my next order that's what I get for spending over $ 2000 dollars year on there cigars read more

Very important to everyone reading this.... There is a JR Cigar that primarily operates online and are based out of somewhere out East. That is NOT the same company as this JR Cigar which is local to the St Louis area. Most the reviews on here that are complaining about bad online service and bad online ordering are talking about the OTHER JR Cigar. To my knowledge, this local STL area business doesn't even have online ordering lol. This is a good local cigar shop with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Don't be misled by 1 star reviews from people talking about the wrong JR Cigar. read more

while they have good selection, they treated me like a crook, I'm white 75 year old! Not a friendly place, very hostile. And I actually shop JR online! read more

Pretty large selection very helpful staff. What really mattered was they had my brand of cigars.

Horrible customer service. Shipment got lost we told them we have camera footage no delivery and can supply and said it would take 7-10 business days for an investigation which I can show proof. read more

Very fair prices. They even had a bargain bin of closeout smokes at a seriously good price! Great variety. Well staffed with 4 or 5 people. Cigars were in great condition and ready to enjoy, unlike some places where you get dry sticks. Only wish there was a cigar lounge to sit and pass the time with my purchases. If you're in the area it's worth the visit! read more

Best cigar shop in all of Missouri. Will ship to you when you get tired of trying to find a good cigar shop in your own community. All it takes is a phone call and you will have a box of cigars the next day on your doorstep. Great group of guys running the shop and always helpful. Best selection of cigars I have seen in the state. read more

I purchased some Macanudo on the JR website. This was my first time using this site. The purchase occurred on 5/25/20. The product I purchased came with a promotion of extra Macanudo cigars. Shortly after the order I received an email telling me the promotion which was part of my purchase was out of stock. The email said I would receive a credit for the promotion amount. I never received an adjustment to the amount charge to my credit card. I followed up with customer service and sent an email with all the pertinent details and no response. This left me concerned about this company. I am sure they are experiencing a fair amount of volume lately with our current economic situation. The site appears impressive but part of my purchase was the promotion amount. Not receiving part of my order and paying the full price does not seem right to me. Thank you. read more

Shop elsewhere - waiting 3 weeks for a box of cigars - tracking shows it's STILL at their warehouse waiting for pick-up. Multiple calls to JR "customer service". Complete run-around (and 30 minutes "on hold"). I ordered the exact same box of cigars from their competitor, Corona Cigar Co last week - arrived in 3 business days. After years of purchasing 1000's of dollars worth of cigars from JR, I'm done with them. read more

Great service for out of state customers, and free shipping on a box of cigars. Same day shipping on most days if you're not calling late in the day. Average two days to KS. read more

Great place to get cigars in St. Louis. Every staff member is very knowledgable and eager to answer any question. Prices are fair and they constantly have promotional deals that are too good to pass up. Any cigar lover should take the time to stop in. read more

Huge selection of smokes! Entire store is a humidor, and they have it all. Staff was helpful, bought a box of Nubs and they made sure I knew about the premium sampler I can pick out with box purchase. Plus the JR Alternatives are a must have for everyday smokes while my Nubs and Rocky Patel's age a while in the humidor! And did I mention great prices too?! It's always cheaper to get a box, but even their high end stuff is cheaper than the competition. Nice location as well in Clayton Business District. read more

One of the best cigar shops I've ever been in. The guys there are always willing to help you out. Huge selection.

Awesome selection of cigars! No little closet humidor you walk into, the whole place is a humidor! Great bargain bins too with brand names for low cost. I was promptly greeted when I walked in and asked if I needed any assistance. I took my time perusing the hundreds of cigars, and taking it all in. Found some of my favorite Rocky Patel's! Eric was very helpful and made some great recommendations. He definitely knows what he is talking about. I will definitely return to JR's for all my cigar needs and I suggest that you stop by and see for yourself read more

Ok selection. When I asked for a particular cigar that they didnt carry I kinda got snuffed at. No one really asked to help out or make a suggestion based on my preferences. Spent 50 bucks but it will be my last time back. read more

Just purchased a box of cigars for a special retirement party. JR Cigars provided me superior service. Very knowledgeable staff willing to answer any questions. Excellent pricing with a very large selection of quality cigars. Unquestionably, the best cigar store I have ever visited! read more
