Joel totally detailed my car. I am over the top pleased with his work. My car is 13 years old and it looks like a new car. I had major water spotting from sprinklers and it's all gone! He had the car just 1 day, His pricing is definitely worth every penny. read more

Great service and overall fantastic job! Went beyond what I thought he could do, my car looks NEW! Would highly recommend!

Joel did a great job on both our ford f150 and Toyota highlander. Good work at a good price. Great customer service.

Called months ago and left a message and never heard a word! Bad business etiquette. The reviews say he's booked up and only does 1 car a day. What a waste of a phone call! read more

After reading all the reviews I decided to give Joel a try. The reviews are all accurate. He is truly a gentleman and takes pride in his work. His detail work is flawless. I am beyond happy! My 10 year old Lincoln looks the same as it did the day I bought it off the showroom floor. Thank you Joel. I'll be back fo Note: He has a long wait list as he does only one car a day with a lot of return cuss. Make an appointment weeks in advance. He is worth it. read more

Please support small businesses in the area. I have been going to JR Auto Detailing, one man car detail operation for last 10 years, and Joel Razo is the hardest working guy I know. Many of my friends already utilize his services, so if you need your vehicle's exterior and/or interior cleaned better than you have ever seen contact: JR Auto Detailing Joel Razo 2520 Walnut Avenue Carmichael, CA 95608 (916) 488-1541 Located behind Hagen's Orange Freeze. **Pre-pay for better price and tell him Aaron Souza sent you. read more

If I could give Joel more than 5 stars, I would. Not only is he one of the kindest people I've ever met, he does a phenomenal job on our family cars. I'm extremely picky and look in the most obscure places to see if they got everything in the full-detail (I have kids so no place is safe from their messes)... and there is no place in my car that is left untouched. Ever. I've never once had to ask him to redo a part of the car that was missed (under seats, in hidden cracks, compartments, smears on headliners... all immaculately clean!). On top of doing an amazing job, his prices are very competitive and worth every penny. read more

Kindest and most hard working man! Joel does not miss a spot! He is extremely detail oriented and extremely kind! He has taken care of my parents and brothers vehicles as well! We all love him! My car always looks brand new after he details it! read more

I have never had a better detail ever! My true blue 2006 Explorer looks wonderful and not like a 15-year old car. Wonderful experience and I highly recommend!! read more

If youve read some of the other reviews you've probably heard that Joel is one of the nicest guys in the world. While they're right I think that's an under statement. Not only did he offer the most competitive price but he did a fantastic job. I'm even thinking about taking my truck there because he did such a great job read more

Had a car that wasn't very well taken care of by my son. After 6 years got it detailed. Not sure it looked so good when we drove it away from the dealer brand new. Great job by JR. read more

I couldn't be happier, my car looks brand new! The owner is sooo friendly, the prices can't be beat & the end result is incredible. I'd recommend this place to anyone! read more

My wife's car was parked in a parking lot in Windsor Ca at a Worldmark. The front of her car was sprayed by the sprinkler system of the front hood and fenders. It must have happened early in the morning because the water spots had dried and has already etched into the clear coat and paint. That is some real bad water. I worked. Week trying to get the spots off to no avail. Took it to JR's and he gave my wife her car back without any water spots what so ever. I know he had to work very hard to get them out and he did a wonderful job. My wife is very happy which makes me happy. He is a busy man but well worth the wait. I will be a repeat customer. Great Job JR read more

Joel was amazing! When I first bought my truck it needed to be detailed inside. He did a great job. The outside was really clean when I brought it to him so I told him to skip it. My family and I were just about to go on a huge road trip around the country and he told me to come in after the trip and he would wash it for free!! Super grateful, it really needed it! He even vacuumed it again free of charge. My new detail guy in town! read more

Amazing detailing company. I was extremely happy with their work. My car looked brand new. My search for the best car detailing in Sacramento/El dorado hills is over and I am grateful for that because I have had bad experiences from other detailers in the past. (See reviews). Truly grateful for their professional work and fair pricing for someone busy like me. Thanks guys! read more

JR Auto Detailing responded first and with the lowest initial quote we got for getting the outside of my husbands car detailed. We showed up to get a final price since we were getting scratches buffed out and got a discount and he told us he was able to detail the car the next day. While we only paid for outer detailing- he cleaned the inside of all the windows and vacuumed the interior as well. He was prompt, with a great price and went above and beyond. Highly recommend. The car hasn't looked this good in years! read more

I was late to my appointment and my car was a mess. A soda can had literally exploded in my brand new 2017 mazda on one of the 100+ days and was all over the interior. Ceiling (beige), seats, panels, floors, buttons, everywhere. 3 of my middle console buttons where too sticky to press down leaving them unusable. Joel was amazing. He was polite and professional. The buttons in my middle console work, my ceiling is clean, everything was shiny and newish. It was an all day job and the $175 was all inclusive interior detail, carpets and seats shampoo, and he even did a complimentary wash on the outside. My kids own the back seat and he even got off some slime that my son had let dry to the seat. I wish I could have given him a tip but my finances are super tight so instead I thought I could share my experience with other yelpers. Awesome service, reasonable prices, go see Joel. read more

I have got to say Joel over here at JR auto detailing is amazing. The knowledge she has and the pride he puts into his work is second to none. I have had multiple family members and friends take their cars there and have always been treated with the utmost care. His customer service is outstanding and I don't think I have one complaint with the work he did on my car. Pricing is extremely reasonable and he takes the time and effort to do the job right. Today was my first time visiting Joel and having work done to my car by him but I promise it will not be the last time I bring my vehicles here. All in all I highly recommend JR auto detailing for any of your detailing needs read more

LOVE THIS GUY AND HIS WORK! Joel is probably the nicest guy you will ever meet and he clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. He will give it his all to clean your car from top to bottom and will pamper it. I've brought 3 cars now to him and he does a great job on all of them. You can tell he cares about cars and most importantly the customer! Go to Joel and you won't regret it! read more

Amazing!!!! I had a leased vehicle that my teenage daughter and her friends completely destroyed while away for school. The interior looked like a crime scene with ground in dirt and food in the carpets, and coffee stains on the headliner and door jams (I don't know even want to know what they were doing to cause that). To top that off, she had hit a post that dented and scratched the entire back door and parts of the rear quarter panel. When I got the car back, it was in amazing condition and you could not even tell it had been treated the way it had. I even brought the car for a second visit during which Joel was able to repair and paint the damage to the side. You cannot even tell it was dented and scratched so badly. Joel is genuinely a nice guy and takes pride in the work he does. His prices are better than fair and I was honestly expecting to pay way more than I did. Even with a nice tip I am still way below what i expected. I will be definitely be bringing other vehicles to him in the future. Take yours to him and you will not be disappointed. read more

Joel has been cleaning my families cars for many years now. He always does a great job, and never cuts corners. He works efficiently to make all his customers happy. Joel did a great job making my old, black paint tuck look new again. I had a ton of surface scratches that he was able about 90% off. I know how hard it can be to do black paint, and he managed with no buffer marks. Thanks Joel! read more

I am an Uber/Lyft driver And I had a young lady decided she wanted to throw up in the back of my brand new 2017 Camry. (Less than 3k miles) On a Friday night at about 11:45. While driving home from San Francisco I was stressing out as to how I was going to get my brand spanking new car clean. I'm not going to lie I was crying. Anyway I called and emailed 5 different Detailer's. Two of those wouldn't touch it because it's a bodily fluids and that it considered a bio hazard. Two places were a minimum of $300 and it would be taken care of on Sunday. 1 was $250. I'm in tears at this point. I need my car in order to make a living. I was dealing with Lyft trying to figure out how to resolve this issue. Lyft only gave me $100 dollars. Now I'm balling. I coach in our community and was talking to a parent of one of my athletes and he said for me to leave right this minute (at a game calling places) and go see Joel. Joel will take care of you he is one of the best. I am soooooo happy that I went to see Joel. I drove up in a frantic and even though he was right in the middle of detailing a very expensive car he took the time to listen. Within a few minutes I felt way better. Joel said leave it with him and he will take care of me. A few hours later I received a call that said your car is clean. I was so excited to get my car back and that I'd get to work Saturday night but I was hesitant..... Throwup smells and stains everyone knows won't go away. But I'm telling you this...IT LOOKED AMAZING!!!! If you need someone to treat your vehicle like you just bought it JOEL is who you need to see. The work was amazing. Thanks again Joel. I'll see ya in a few weeks for another shampooing and detailing. (You riders are dirty ) read more

Joel is a really nice guy. But I can only give him almost 4 stars. I really didn't want to ruin his 5 star rating but I wish other reviewers were more critical of his work. My car is not a challenging case so he didn't have to pull out all the stops to get it spotless. But it wasn't spotless. There were steaks on the glass windows and sunroof inside and out as well as on the side mirrors. These flaws are what I see when I am driving looking out the windows. The dash was gleaming but also speckled with lint. The flaws are small but can be easily avoided. On the other hand, his price is reasonable compared to other places. read more

Love getting my car detailed here! If you want the best service and the best prices go see Joel, he's the man.

Joel is the best by far! I had a gift certificate for a detail job that was given to me years ago and he still honored it and did the most amazing job, my car looked brand new! He takes great pride in what he does and will always work around your schedule!! read more

We were very happy with JR Auto detailing. The owner, Joel, is a friendly man who did a wonderful job on our car. My grand-son had thrown up in the back seat and we had tried to remove the spot ourselves without success. Joel was able to remove it and he also used a sealant on all our seats. We definitely will use JR Auto Detailing when needed. He also gave a ride back home to my husband while he kept the car for about 3 hrs. I am not surprised by all the positive reviews. read more

Joel is the BEST! best customer service I have a 2010 Honda pilot and he makes my car looked like new! I have been going to Joel about two years now and I fall I love with my car even more when he is done I highly recommend him!! read more

I don't know where I should start. Hands down, the best place I have ever taken my cars to get detailed. My first vehicle I took in was my Toyota Camry that I had owned for a few years. I left a message and Joel got back to me very quickly and we set up a time to have the car taken care of. When I picked up the car, WOW, it looked brand new, no joke, even the guy I ended up selling it to was confused on how it still looked like it belonged on the lot. After that fantastic experience, I did the same with my wife's Honda Civic. It was white exterior with light tan cloth seats which had coffee stains, make up and who know what else on the seats and headliner. Guess what, picked it up, LOOKED BRAND NEW AGAIN. That was what truly amazed me. Since then, I have purchased a black 5 series BMW and the only person I will trust to clean this vehicle is Joel. Just picked it up an hour ago and it is sparkling! Even two people at the gas station asked how it looks so perfect! All that aside, the owner is such a great person, very friendly and how you wish business owners and humans would be this day and age. If you are looking to make your car feel amazing again, it doesn't hurt to spend the money on a detail or one of his other services offered every once in a while. It is worth every penny. read more

Excellent service! Joel made my 20 year old truck look almost new. I would highly recommend the headlight restoration in addition to the basic service for the increased visibility it affords. read more

Joel did an outstanding job in making my 19-year old Honda Accord look fabulous! There were no weaknesses - he cleaned everything. The dashboard, seats, carpets, doorways and entire interior look terrific. The tires, wheels, and entire exterior look excellent as well. The price was approximately $175. I consider that very inexpensive compared to the alternative of looking for a newer car, even a used one. Let me make two suggestions. If you have any areas on your car that you'd like him to give special attention to, by all means mention that to him up front. (He will probably ask you anyway.) The second suggestion is that if you want him to do anything special for your engine, ask him about that beforehand, too. I didn't because my engine was not particularly dirty and I am not so concerned with its appearance anyway. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if he can make that shine as well. As reviewer Richard J. pointed out, Joel's shop is behind an Orange Freeze store on Walnut. It's not difficult to get to, it's just hard to notice it from the street. My bottom line: give yourself the inexpensive gift of a great-looking car by visiting Joel! read more

Joel detailed my brand new car! I am going to continue to go to him so my car looks brand new forever!!! Joel has such a great attention to detail as well as being honest and generous. The best in place in detailing... he always make you special person.. he is good in everything he do and especially in your car..

I can't say enough about Joel - such a nice person, and very reasonably priced. Clearly this is a guy who takes pride in his work, and he cares about your being happy with it. When I dropped it off I told him I was so excited about getting this done, and he said, "You'll be even more excited when you pick it up." Not wrong! He had my Honda all day & cleaned/washed inside and out, replaced the front headlight covers, cleaned under the hood, which I hadn't asked him to do. Beautiful wax finish. I am so happy with the way it turned out. I was thinking about selling it beforehand but now I think I'll keep it another year. Went home and told my husband about it, he came out to have a look and said we should have him do the truck, too. OUTSTANDING!!! read more

I got a last minute appointment. My car looks brand new. Worth every penny. Thank you Joel.

I have been taking my Infiniti to Joel since 2006. He does an unbelievable job. He listens carefully to anything special I'd like him to take care of and then turns out a fabulous product. I always feel as if I'm stepping into a brand new car when i pick mine up. Even though I've since moved relatively far away from his shop, I still go. It's worth the inconvenience. read more
