My wife's car was parked in a parking lot in Windsor Ca at a Worldmark. The front of her car was sprayed by the sprinkler system of the front hood and fenders. It must have happened early in the morning because the water spots had dried and has already etched into the clear coat and paint. That is some real bad water. I worked. Week trying to get the spots off to no avail. Took it to JR's and he gave my wife her car back without any water spots what so ever. I know he had to work very hard to get them out and he did a wonderful job. My wife is very happy which makes me happy. He is a busy man but well worth the wait. I will be a repeat customer. JR Auto Detailing responded first and with the lowest initial quote we got for getting the outside of my husbands car detailed. We showed up to get a final price since we were getting scratches buffed out and got a discount and he told us he was able to detail the car the next day. While we only paid for outer detailing- he cleaned the inside of all the windows and vacuumed the interior as well. He was prompt, with a great price and went above and beyond. Highly recommend. I was late to my appointment and my car was a mess. A soda can had literally exploded in my brand new 2017 mazda on one of the 100+ days and was all over the interior. Ceiling (beige), seats, panels, floors, buttons, everywhere. 3 of my middle console buttons where too sticky to press down leaving them unusable. Joel was amazing. He was polite and professional. The buttons in my middle console work, my ceiling is clean, everything was shiny and newish. It was an all day job and the $175 was all inclusive interior detail, carpets and seats shampoo, and he even did a complimentary wash on the outside. My kids own the back seat and he even got off some slime that my son had let dry to the seat. Amazing!!!! I had a leased vehicle that my teenage daughter and her friends completely destroyed while away for school. The interior looked like a crime scene with ground in dirt and food in the carpets, and coffee stains on the headliner and door jams (I don't know even want to know what they were doing to cause that). To top that off, she had hit a post that dented and scratched the entire back door and parts of the rear quarter panel. When I got the car back, it was in amazing condition and you could not even tell it had been treated the way it had. I even brought the car for a second visit during which Joel was able to repair and paint the damage to the side. You cannot even tell it was dented and scratched so badly. I am an Uber/Lyft driver And I had a young lady decided she wanted to throw up in the back of my brand new 2017 Camry. (Less than 3k miles) On a Friday night at about 11:45. While driving home from San Francisco I was stressing out as to how I was going to get my brand spanking new car clean. I'm not going to lie I was crying. Anyway I called and emailed 5 different Detailer's. Two of those wouldn't touch it because it's a bodily fluids and that it considered a bio hazard. Two places were a minimum of $300 and it would be taken care of on Sunday. 1 was $250. I'm in tears at this point. I need my car in order to make a living. I was dealing with Lyft trying to figure out how to resolve this issue. Lyft only gave me $100 dollars. Now I'm balling. I coach in our community and was talking to a parent of one of my athletes and he said for me to leave right this minute (at a game calling places) and go see Joel. Joel will take care of you he is one of the best. I am soooooo happy that I went to see Joel. I drove up in a frantic and even though he was right in the middle of detailing a very expensive car he took the time to listen. Within a few minutes I felt way better. Joel said leave it with him and he will take care of me. A few hours later I received a call that said your car is clean. I was so excited to get my car back and that I'd get to work Saturday night but I was hesitant..... Throwup smells and stains everyone knows won't go away. Joel is a really nice guy. But I can only give him almost 4 stars. I really didn't want to ruin his 5 star rating but I wish other reviewers were more critical of his work. My car is not a challenging case so he didn't have to pull out all the stops to get it spotless. But it wasn't spotless. There were steaks on the glass windows and sunroof inside and out as well as on the side mirrors. These flaws are what I see when I am driving looking out the windows. The dash was gleaming but also speckled with lint. The flaws are small but can be easily avoided. On the other hand, his price is reasonable compared to other places. read more

I don't know where I should start. Hands down, the best place I have ever taken my cars to get detailed. My first vehicle I took in was my Toyota Camry that I had owned for a few years. I left a message and Joel got back to me very quickly and we set up a time to have the car taken care of. When I picked up the car, WOW, it looked brand new, no joke, even the guy I ended up selling it to was confused on how it still looked like it belonged on the lot. After that fantastic experience, I did the same with my wife's Honda Civic. It was white exterior with light tan cloth seats which had coffee stains, make up and who know what else on the seats and headliner. Guess what, picked it up, LOOKED BRAND NEW AGAIN. That was what truly amazed me. Since then, I have purchased a black 5 series BMW and the only person I will trust to clean this vehicle is Joel. Just picked it up an hour ago and it is sparkling! Even two people at the gas station asked how it looks so perfect! All that aside, the owner is such a great person, very friendly and how you wish business owners and humans would be this day and age. If you are looking to make your car feel amazing again, it doesn't hurt to spend the money on a detail or one of his other services offered every once in a while. It is worth every penny. read more

We were very happy with JR Auto detailing. The owner, Joel, is a friendly man who did a wonderful job on our car. My grand-son had thrown up in the back seat and we had tried to remove the spot ourselves without success. Joel was able to remove it and he also used a sealant on all our seats. Joel did an outstanding job in making my 19-year old Honda Accord look fabulous! There were no weaknesses - he cleaned everything. The dashboard, seats, carpets, doorways and entire interior look terrific. The tires, wheels, and entire exterior look excellent as well. The price was approximately $175. I consider that very inexpensive compared to the alternative of looking for a newer car, even a used one. Let me make two suggestions. If you have any areas on your car that you'd like him to give special attention to, by all means mention that to him up front. (He will probably ask you anyway.) The second suggestion is that if you want him to do anything special for your engine, ask him about that beforehand, too. I didn't because my engine was not particularly dirty and I am not so concerned with its appearance anyway. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if he can make that shine as well. As reviewer Richard J. pointed out, Joel's shop is behind an Orange Freeze store on Walnut. It's not difficult to get to, it's just hard to notice it from the street. My bottom line: give yourself the inexpensive gift of a great-looking car by visiting Joel! read more
