So you have to wait around the whole day hoping he'll come. And after that, he does not show up! Or if you leave finally, he'll come and get angry that you left!! I can not get over the amount of information he gave me regarding other stables/horse owners/horses! I was stunned! He used full names and gave very private information. I was extremely worried he would use me as a story at his next stop. Pricing: He is on the high side compared to other farriers. And he will complain that he had to come all the way out for 1 horse?? I have donkeys and it can be difficult to get someone to come and trim their hooves. Dale agreed without hesitation and I loved that he had a solid understanding of the differences in a donkey hoof and horse hoof. You can quickly see he has a lot of experience he draws from. I have seen the previous farrier "wrestle" with my girls to get them to stand still and cooperate - but Dale is so confident and calm, and with Robin's relaxed and caring support, there were no issues.
