We went to this branch because we wanted to live in Cardiff Bay and they certainly knew their stuff, listened to what we wanted and kept an eye out for anything that might be suitable for us. When we moved in they made the day that extra bit special by giving us a bottle of wine to celebrate. It was a really great experience and I would defiantly recommend them to anyone.

Besides wasting staff time by making them write phony reviews on a website supposedly for 'Real…read morePeople, Real Reviews', Keylet are absolutely awful. We have been with them for 5 years, paying them over £36,000 in rent. Both properties were infected on arrival (carpet moths, bedbugs), and both times they have tried to charge us for the damage caused. The first property had moths in the carpet, which were heavily damaged. Not only did Keylet fail to replace them, they attempted to charge us £150 for professional cleaning of carpets. Only after a strong defence copying in Watchdog did they let up on this charge. The second property had bedbugs, and as such all beds were removed and destroyed on advice from Europest and in consultation with Keylet. They then attempted to charge us for 'missing beds' at the end of the tenancy, as they had only replace two beds after the originals were destroyed!! They didn't reply within the promised timeframe to any letters, and became surly, childish and agressive when questioned. They are simply thieves and the staff are difficult and unhelpful. Their pathetic attempt to post a positive review on this site (after being found out on Qype) is nothing more than pathetic. Please, please, please, for your own sake, DON'T GO WITH KEYLET. Okay, I'm not really a massive fan of estate agents, because I'm always highly aware of them after hearing all the horror stories. Neither have I really had all that much experience with them as I'm not yet hopping up the property ladder. This place has got an excellent local reputation and there really are some lovely properties on their books, so they're most certainly worth checking out if you're after a property around the Penarth and Cardiff area.

ACJ Properties are helping to make the Cardiff rental market even more competitive than it already is by pitting prospective tenants against each other. The end result is that my afternoon has been wasted and I will have to wait until next weekend before I have another opportunity to view a property.
