My son and I were in and out in 15 minutes, although we may have lucked out timing-wise. The rental process is simple and well-considered. I was asked to give either my SSN or my MI license # which is understandable as the cello we rented retails at a little over $1500 (I opted for the MI license). The plus side is that all rental fees count as credit towards the purchase of a brand new instrument down the road if the music love continues into high school. All in all a positive experience that will hopefully help my son's love of music grow!

I had an experience with a guitarist I found through a Groupon deal at Southtown. It discouraged me a little from playing. But Kendra and Dean really redeemed themselves. They don't know this, which is why I can say their service is genuinely from the heart of caring about sharing their passion for music. Thank you Southtown!
