They have shows, demos, a petting zoo, Dutch village area replica buildings. A Cheese shop. Coffee shop. Some stroomwafels - yum. Much of the gift items they had at the Dutch Village in downtown Holland as well. If you have never been to Holland / Amsterdam, many of the buildings give you the flare of the village at least. It was not worth it for us to pay or visit. Bettye for families with kids, that's what it's catered more towards.

Super cute place. It really felt like you were in a little Dutch Village. We were hoping to eat at…read morethe Hungry Dutchman Cafe as our group specifically planned for this in our 8 day itinerary around Michigan but on arrival, the lady behind the counter very rudely informed us they were closing early and there are no other real food options in this village. We were all extremely hungry but had already paid the admission to this place so decided to make the best of it and next went to the cheese shop which thankfully offered about 25 different samples of their cheeses which were very very good along with a sample of sausage. So we purchased some meat, cheese and a whole pickle and made our way to the first demonstration being offered which was wooden shoe dancing. It was cute. 8 young people dancing traditional Dutch dances and "accidentally" kicking off their shoes. Next was a delft painting demonstration which was interesting although the young lady read so quickly from a script that it was difficult to follow and hear. Next was Jon who told us about and showed us wood shoe carving. He was a nice man who was very informative and when the demonstration was over even answered some of our questions about recommendations for dinner options. Next was a cheese making demonstration and then a visit to the gift shops. It was a fun place, a bit gimmicky and definitely geared toward children but not a bad way to spend a couple hours. We were a bit bummed that we missed the making of stroopwafel class, nothing was shown on our paper and we didn't know about it until we went into the stroopwafel store and they were just finishing. Note: this place is officiated with Windmill Island Gardens.

It also wasn't crowded at all, which made the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable instead of rushed. One of the best parts was the animal feeding experiences throughout the park. Getting to feed a giraffe was something we'll never forget and Leroy the giraffe completely stole the show He was easily one of the coolest experiences we've ever had and definitely where some core family memories were made. The exhibits were thoughtfully done too. The animals seemed to have plenty of space while still allowing guests to get close enough to really enjoy and appreciate them. Every staff member we encountered was kind, helpful, and added to the positive experience. This place deserves way more attention. Such a fun, memorable day for our family!

I was quite amazed but not surprised seeing how lovely everything is! The flowers were all in bloom, no random trash, grass green and freshly mowed, and trash receptacle can be found spaced out enough that there should not be a reason for anyone not to walk the short distance to throw away their trash. I love the water fountain area surrounded by a variety of flowers in bloom. My pup loved her stroll, too. The park is very well shaded with trees and magnificent vegetation throughout. I regretted not spending more time there as there are quite a bit of benches located throughout the park to sit and enjoy the view from. This is my second visit to this park and I am more and more impressed every time. Great job city of Holland and those who takes great care of the park!

We had so much fun at this huge park!…read more We thought the little kid picnic table was particularly adorable. All of the playground equipment was accessible, which we really appreciated. We love the parent and child swings although one of them are super squeaky. There was so much to do with this park. We saw people playing basketball on the super nice courts. We saw disc golfers. They were other kids at the playground, even at dusk. It was very close to a residential neighborhood, but everybody seems super nice. I think there was a dog park too? It was huge so we didn't explore the park very much because it was dusk and we needed the kids to get some energy out. My kids asked to go back when they woke up today out of all the things we're doing, so it's definitely memorable!!

We loved this orchard SO much!…read more I couldn't believe the amount of fun, free entertainment packed into this farm. We ended up spending nearly three hours bopping our way between activities and snacking. We enjoyed cider, a variety of donuts (including apple cider and pumpkin with cream cheese icing), a big ole bag of "seconds" apples that were in great condition, paid for the four wheeler/train ride through the peaches and much more. The kids especially loved the goats, slide, tractor ride through the property and corn "Sand box". Bathrooms and snack stands were plentiful and clean throughout the front portion of the farm. The staff was all very engaged and friendly as well. I loved that this spot didn't feel cheesy or over commercialized like some orchards can become. It was truly perfect. Can't recommend it enough.

While they have someone guiding you most of the time, people visiting are not always the most mindful and don't let you out to give up your spot. There are pumpkins, tracker rides, a little parade car for kids (and adults can fit too) and a play area for the kids. I think it's the perfect place to grab donuts, cider, pick some apples and grab your pumpkin.
