The Good: *More than just ice creams, as they also have lobstah rolls, fries, and glizzies! Didn't try so can't comment but the pics look good. *Great selection of ice cream flavors, as well as yummy soft serve. *I don't recall the prices, but I remember it being very inexpensive. However, please note we're from the SF Bay Area, so everything seems cheap to us fml *Fantastic outdoor picnic areas to eat and look at the beautiful lake. The Meh: *Service was a bit aloof, but we were there at the end of the shift, so probably just the end of the day grumps. Regardless, it was fine. *No waffle cones, just standard cake cones. :( *Cash only The Ugly: *Like many businesses here in Rangeley they're only open seasonally from May - Octoberish (check their FB page for updates) Conclusion: A damn fine place to get your ice creams and a view. Highly recommended.

We have never experienced flavorless ice cream before! We're not sure if it was something to do with the ice cream machine. While waiting for our ice cream, we heard a commotion and girls giggling hysterically. Apparently the soft serve ice cream dispenser exploded. The location that was overlooking the lake was very pretty!

Owner operated and staffed, it's a small business you can support, the items come from their Farm two miles from the stand! They carry everything for your meal preparation needs are. Stocking seasonal produce, local favorites, and state favorites. We arrived just after the flags were hoisted that they were open. Plenty of parking and handicap accessible. Store is perfect sized with ample walking and items displayed at arms length. A farm stand decorated with signage and pictures. Owner greeted us and asked if she could help us find anything, we were looking in the bakery case and did not see the rolls we've heard so much about. It's Sunday and it's known as cinnamon roll day; they are displayed and served in the coffee room, around the corner. We were so early the rolls had not come out yet. With in three minutes they came out hot with melting icing YUM!! You're choice to take a plate or to go container. Plenty of napkins and forks. We sat in our car since it was a cold fall morning to enjoy our treat. The dough has a nice buttery flavor, dry yet not crumbly. The cinnamon and sugar layers had the perfect amount of each that one did not over power the other. For someone who feels breakfast is not complete without bacon, I really enjoyed. $2.99 each was reasonable.

I needed something small, but different than the traditional scoop ice cream. I ordered a The Unicorn Kids Size Sundae ($3.50 plus tax), which had Gifford's Unicorn ice cream, a sugar cone horn, whipped cream topped with rainbow sprinkles. This sweet colorful sundae was really good and refreshing to enjoy, especially on an 88 degree day in the North Country. Picnic table seating in front of the shop and parking along side of building and along Main Street.
