The hardest part about shopping at Joybird is trying to decide on the style & the fabric! SO many choices & they're ALL beautiful. I was a kid in a candy store! I knew it was time for a sofa sleeper and going with something that was 78" or larger was not going to work for my space and other furniture. And, I didn't want something that looked like an overgrown chair! Jonathan not only helped me with the sofa options, but he was honest and focused on helping me decide what was best for me rather than closing a sale! My first choice of fabric was just not right, so Jonathan made it SUPER easy for me to exchange my first choice for the Banks Nutmeg! I absolutely LOVE it! I am thrilled with my entire experience with Joybird! We began our couch search last year, swatches arrived within a day or two. We finally made a decision on August 13, 2021. Our custom Hughes twin sleeper with storage ottoman in Royale Cobalt fabric with 2 Minka bolster pillows arrived TODAY! October 4, 2021! I was anticipating arrival in November. What a surprise! I've never invested in nice furniture (always thrifted, hand-me-downs, etc) so I was apprehensive to make such a large purchase but I am SO glad I did and that I went with Joybird! Richard was absolutely wonderful to work with!! I came in from out of town looking to confirm my decision on a Holt sectional and was extremely impressed by the customer service. He showed me additional options to make sure I had the most information possible prior to making the purchase. He also helped me style the room - showing color contrasts for the pillows I wanted to add as well. I was looking for a pull-out sofa sleeper, and Mel was thorough and helpful in showing me the ins and outs of the sofa sleeper models. She walked me through the fabric options, and I landed on the perfect fabric and the perfect model. She went through the production schedule and expected delivery date and answered all my questions. I've been looking at Joybird furniture for a few years now. When I found out there was a show room in Chicago I was overjoyed. My husband and I visited twice, before making our purchases. The staff, especially Mel and Richard, are friendly, helpful and not pushy. With so many choice, choosing fabrics for your pieces can be a bit overwhelming. Mel went out of her way to find just the right leather sample. (If you plan to purchase online order the samples swatch kit. It's wonderful and a huge help.) I had a wonderful experience working with Mel at Joybird. She talked me through all the different fabrics and was patient while we sat on various couches before we selected the perfect one for us. Our couch (Holt sectional) arrived in a timely manner and the delivery team even unboxed and assembled it for us. We have had it for nearly a month and it is SO comfortable and looks great in our space. It has a few threads hanging off, but those are easily cut and besides that the quality is excellent. Matthew was great - he was super knowledgable about the different pieces and helped me navigate all the different options and hone in on the most important decisions that we needed to make.
