Korean shot ribs, chicken teriyaki!

Why did I wait so long to try Joy Teriyaki! I've now found my new favorite place. Yes, I did feel Joy after my first bite! The chicken was amazing, all the sauces were delicious. If only they had bubble tea.....

House special Mongolian Chicken
Jay H.

Newly opened in West Linn and stopped for dinner. They have an extensive menu when compared to other Terikayi outlets similar to this. I was toying between different dishes but settled for their Mongolian Chicken house special and decided on a take-out. There were three or four other patrons all deciding on take out even though I could see plenty of seating - in fact, no one was dining in at the time I swung by. The Mongolian Chicken came with two cups of steamed rice. A nice helping of chicken and various vegetables. A bit sweet (what did I expect from a teriyaki joint) for my liking but delicious nonetheless. Will be back since it's conveniently on my way home.

TLDR: If you're in the mood for some comfort food and the single best bbq in all of Oregon don't…read morethink, just come here. (20+ years living in Texas and 4+ years in Oregon trying to find some god damn good bbq). My buddy and I were just traveling through and came across this place. The portions are very big, but the quality of the food will have you willingly putting yourself in a post Thanksgiving food coma. Every sauce is made in house, and the flavor is absolutely immaculate. We ordered the wings (Asian Fire and Passionfruit Habanero), Brisket Sandwich, Cheesesteak Samdwich, and garlic Parmesan fries. Every fry was perfectly crisp. Every piece of brisket was falling apart. My god what an absolutely gem of a find in the middle of no where.

5 Stars Again! An Absolute West Linn Gem…read more 1933 is hands-down my favorite restaurant in West Linn. They have the best beer selection around and the staff is always incredibly friendly, cool, and helpful , the kind of crew that actually makes you want to come back. The food? Easily some of the best in the area. I've had the cheesesteak, brisket tacos, brisket sandwich, all fantastic, but the real showstoppers are their 30-day dry-aged ribeye and dry-aged New York. Seriously next level. Perfect flavor, perfectly cooked, and honestly some of the best meat you'll find anywhere in town. I've eaten at pretty much every restaurant on the main strip, and 1933 is the only one I keep coming back to. It's a true hidden gem in West Linn and absolutely worth checking out. Great owners, they care so much about quality. Extremely thankful for this restaurant!!!!

Came in on weekend for lunch and it was definitely a 40 min wait, but then literally no one on a Tuesday night for dinner. Somehow, the time for the food to come out was about the same. You get a few that come out quick, then a few that took long enough for me to notice it, and then always a few where you wonder if they forgot your dish. Even when there was no one else in the restaurant. The XLB and pot stickers are all super solid, not quite Ding Tai Fung quality, but at these prices and wait times they are great. Qbao's are delicious. I think the noodles are honestly slept on. They all have great flavor, super bouncy noodles, and honestly come in a size that you can easily finish on your own or still big enough to split in case you wanted to try another flavor. I also think the pork wonton's with chili sauce are also super slept on, the sauce is oddly sweet, but honestly I love that. Service here can be hit or miss. They don't really do a each table gets a specific server system, at least that hasn't been my experience. You'll get some food runners, and you can usually just flag anyone down to get what you need. But it does mean things can slip through the cracks if you don't have one person keeping an eye on the list of food ordered for the table or you have multiple servers checking in on you to see if you got all your food even though you just told the server 3 min ago you were still missing something. All in all, this place is phenomenal and approachable. I will be back, maybe not on the weekends though, it's not quite worth all that.

I remember when Bonchon was just a random chicken place that opened up in California, its draw was…read morethat it was of a renowned Korean chain. Upon first bite you'll realize how different it is from traditional fried chicken, and now it is the flagship for most people's first foray into KFC ( Korean Fried Chicken). The location in Clackamas Town Center is of no exception, and their quality and speed are still up to par. It's a great casual place to have some fried chicken and snacks ( or even heavier meals) with the family or friends. Their service is like any other chain, don't expect anything stellar, but there are no complaints either. The food is consistent, fresh, hot, crunchy, and plenty of flavor no matter what you get. I recommend trying their original flavors the Spicy and Soy Garlic wings on your first venture, but if you're familiar already then dive into their more expansive menu! I haven't had a miss yet, though their specialty is definitely their wings. The rest of their menu doesn't miss, but they aren't top tier compared to dedicated Korean restaurants. I find this to be more satisfying than anything in the Clackamas food courts, so I recommend anyone who hasn't tried Bonchon to give a look!

1 Star Chicken…read moreSandwich review only the chicken sandwich I got was terrible.. I describe it as a poorly breaded chicken patty that didn't have much meat; in other words, it was a smashed chicken burger where you only taste batter and chicken was beyond dry because there wasn't much meat to start out with If this was a regular standard juicy chicken patty then it'll be good Failed
