She reminds me of that Shakespeare quote: "Though she be but little, she is fierce". My second home purchase (both have been in Alexandria) was a SFH seemingly in pretty good shape. Lisa questioned the structural integrity of the home when she looked in the crawl space (YUP, she was down in the crawl space with her flashlight), but I didn't see anything readily apparent to say it was a problem. Well, it's a problem if Lisa says it's a problem. She simply will not allow her clients to purchase a home that might be unsafe. From the electrical panel that seemed a little wonky but functional, to the rotted wood under the water heater that was deemed safe and not at risk of collapse by the inspector, Lisa wasn't having any of it. Master negotiator, she got EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY INSPECTOR ITEMS taken care of by the seller. I couldn't believe it. I was nervous, and shy and would not have asked for half of the 'punch-list' items on the inspector list...suck it up and wait until after closing to fix it would have been my motto, especially in this crazy competitive market. But Lisa stuck up for me; her approach was solid and she was unwavering...right down to re-inspection of the home by a structural engineer hours before closing. When it was all over, the seller's agent was dumbfounded; he had no idea what had hit him. Lisa is what had hit him. Always polite. Exceptionally respectful. Consummate professional. That's Lisa. If I ever heard anyone say a negative thing about her, I'd instantly know their character was flawed. She's just that pleasant to work with and I don't say that lightly. When my mom and stepdad began shopping for a new home in Oklahoma recently, I was saddened that I could not give them Lisa, as she would have been the greatest housewarming gift anyone could receive. I recommend her to everyone I know, from small condo to large family home. If you want someone who is truly looking out for you and dedicatedly on your side in a world filled with narcissistic snowflakes who would take advantage of you at every opportunity then, I promise, you want to rely on Lisa!

Last night, left MJ both an email and vm with my cell and the address confirming a 1pm showing today. When I didn't hear back, I called again this morning. MJ constantly interrupted me, assured me the client was out and about looking at properties and would be there at 1pm. I couldn't finish a sentence, she just kept running me over. I guess what property owners have to say isn't as important as MJ talking at us. Sent her a text when I arrived at the property. You know how this story ends: MJ was so sorry, the appointment was made by mistake, the client was not coming. Maybe stop interrupting, learn to listen, check your vm, read your email so reviews like this won't need to be written.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. My mother is a real estate agent and I personally know about 20 agents that are friends of mine. Any of them stand a chance of getting my listing whenever I choose to do business with them but I'll never do business with Keller Williams because of this.

We needed to move for work and had to leave the place we were renting before our lease was up. To avoid paying further rent, we needed to find a new tenant. After looking for a month, with only one showing while we were there, we needed to officially move. We wouldn't have anyone in the area to show the place to prospective tenants. We contacted Marc to assist us with showing the place. Marc happily accepted and did much more than simply show the place. He also marketed the place, worked with our difficult landlord to get important things done to improve the rent-ability of the apartment, and also providing regular communication of what was going on. This turned a painful process into a painless one. This was all happening as the coronavirus pandemic started. Marc still continued to provide excellent service, taking appropriate precautions, during the pandemic. (a time when some would have thrown in the towel) While we weren't lucky enough to find a tenant that would meet the high financial standards (750+ credit rating, and high income) of our prior landlord, the effort Marc put in was exceptional. Since we didn't find a tenant, he ended up doing this all for free!
