I decided to try the ube latte, and the first thing I noticed was how VERY PURPLE it was! I wasn't sure if that was from the ube concentration or coloring, so I asked the barista about it. Since some places add coconut flavor to their ube without making it clear, I specifically asked if there was any coconut flavoring. The barista was really kind and explained that it was just ube with no added coconut flavor, which I appreciated. That said, I wouldn't say the ube latte was the best I've had. If you're from the West Coast and have had the ube latte from Da Vien, this is definitely not the same! So if you're going in expecting that specific Da Vien flavor, you might be disappointed. Personally, I'd probably go for their matcha or an Americano next time I visit. That being said, the barista clearly takes pride in the drinks and was really helpful and patient with my questions, so I'd definitely be open to trying some of their other drinks. The café itself was also quiet and clean when we visited, making it a nice spot to sit down, finish up some work, or just relax with a drink.

The waffle texture and taste are unbelievable, especially when it's just out hot and crispy, but still fluffy inside. Together with the strong and sweet coffee tastes with the flan: food orgasm. I think I actually like this location better than the JC location. It's spacious enough to sit down and get some work done, although it's not necessarily my favorite study environment because the space is a little dark and makes me feel sleepy. That being said, the Duluth Town Green area feels much more lively and community-oriented now, and I kind of love her!! There's definitely more to do around here these days, which makes this a nice place to stop by while you're in the area. I also tried their avocado toast which comes with a side of either arugula salad or chips.. I took the chips as I'm currently weary of fresh salads following food poisoning cases with huge brand suppliers in the US. My toast was perfect, the spice had sweet and fire hot notes that blended well with the creamy avocado. Ambience; a little noisier but not bad. The interior is okay, nothing to write home about. The brown and black dominate the place, and it feels like the lights are fighting to light up the place sufficiently. The hanging artificial plants are more distracting than decorative. That's just my impression Great place. I recommend

The parking lot always seems to be packed, which is kind of annoying. I've only tried the chai so far, but it was very good. The pastries looked delicious too, and I'm looking forward to going back and trying a few of them. Not much else to say about the service. It was fine, exactly what you'd expect from a coffee shop. I'd come back. The atmosphere is probably the biggest reason. It feels a little different from most of the coffee shops around here. Edit: also it's 25 cent extra to order something iced, which I find a bit strange.

I kid you not, it makes you feel like you're sitting inside a real-life geode! The walls are lined with the cutest shelves and unique little trinkets. Their counters were stacked with all kinds of delicious-looking treats, and I honestly had a hard time deciding what to get. I finally settled on a chai tea and a caramel croffle. What really blew me away was how different this place feels from a standard chain coffee shop. The staff genuinely made me feel welcome and cared for. Within just a few minutes my order was ready. The chai tea tasted so authentic, not like it came out of a mass-produced bottle. And the croffle? Perfect. It had that beautiful subtle essence of a flaky croissant. And the caramel wasn't overly sugary at all so you could actually enjoy the rich flavors. I had the most pleasant afternoon here.
