From start to finish, my experience with Etched Impressions was a five star experience. I received a Yeti cup and looked for somewhere that could engrave it. The first place I called wanted $25 to engrave it and another $25 to set it up. I could buy another one at the Yeti website and have it engraved and shipped for less. The second place I reached out to had ordered but not received their laser engraver yet. Fortunately, my third business I reached out to was Etched Impressions and I hit the jackpot. My email was promptly answered and after Jay verified what I wanted he told me they could absolutely do it. The price quoted was reasonable and he said I might be able to wait for it or it would be a day, at the longest. The other place told me it would be up to a week. I reached out to Jay the next morning and asked if I could bring it by after lunch and he promptly responded that he could do it then while I waited. As soon as I got there, Jay verified what I wanted and told me he had four items to complete before mine but it wouldn't be longer than an hour and fifteen minutes. I had a great book in my car so the time passed quickly. I opted to wait since I don't live in the area. In less than the quoted time I got a text saying my Yeti was ready. It looked awesome. Such a great experience. Jay was very responsive and professional. It is obvious he loves what he does. When you get to the address you drive to the back of the building to find his business. I am so appreciative that they were willing to do mine right away. I look forward to dealing with them again. I love supporting a small business. This guy was awesome. My wine club wanted their own wine glasses with quotes so no one would drink from the wrong glass. I also wanted my own personal glasses to be unique for the same reason. Jay was quick to communicate back by phone AND text. These days it's hard to get one or the other and almost never get both responses. He did not charge a set up fee and gave me a discount for doing so many glasses. He was there when he said he would be for me to drop off the glasses and for pick up. He did a great job. Very happy. What a difference it makes when you go to a small business and you can tell the passion and effort they have invested in it. I called quite a few different places because I'm quite clueless when it comes to getting things personalized on different surfaces. I called this business and immediately the owner was kind and explained all the proper terms and what needed to be done. Etched Impressions did a custom piece for me just a few weeks ahead of Christmas 2020. My Father, a carpenter, passed away last year, and I wanted to give my sisters something that would be truly memorable to his legacy. So I had an idea to engrave 3 of his hammers. The project was going to be too difficult for me to complete on my own, that's when I met the owner, Jay, who you could immediately tell was passionate about his work. Right away Jay was collaborating and responsive to my request. He earned my confidence right away and started mocking up a design to engrave the hammers (both metal & wooden). Once they were complete he did all of the extra work to put these in shadow boxes and even add some other features to make it more incredible than I had imagined. Etched Impressions was more than fair on price, and turned my project around in a week which was much faster than I had anticipated since it was 3 separate shadow boxes, and engraving, RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS! This is hands down the best place you can go for customized etched glass (and anything else I'm sure). My fiancé ordered individually engraved rocks glasses for my bridal party and they are simply gorgeous! We had wonderful communication, quick response, and insanely fast turnaround time!
