I began visiting Sparkle about a year and a half ago. Since my VERY first visit, it has been my FAVORITE store to shop in - anywhere. I buy all my gifts there - for everyone. There is literally something there for every person on my gift list! My favorite thing about Sparkle is that all the gift items are UNIQUE! I get the best compliments from my friends when I give them a gift in that "purple box" from Sparkle! Not to mention, if I cannot find something "just right", Meg (owner) or Nicole (*awesome* employee) always have ideas on what we could create (I say we becasue I get to help in the "design" of an item even if I don't actually make it!)...and at NO EXTRA CHARGE! Their creativity is absolutely free. In today's marketplace, I just don't find that exceptional customer service anywhere else! I will also mention I TOTALLY disagree with the first post. I find nothing in the store overpriced and am generally surprised at how reasonable the prices are on most everything. I am a crafter from way back, so I naturally see things and think---OH, I should make that...and maybe I could, but not for the prices in Sparkle! Maybe you could cut costs using inferior beads & findings, but it wouldn't be the quality you get there! I will be a fan of Sparkle forever. I have been a loyal customer to Sparkle! since it was in its original store space in Honest Alley and each year it only gets more fabulous. If you are looking for boutique and distinct, unique style - this is one of the BEST in Gwinnett -and has been rated as such!! For a special occasion (yes, that means SPARKLING yourself too!) this is the store I ALWAYS shop first - the distinct purple bag or box is recognized by so many - taking the "little blue box" on for brand recognition! The jewelry & gifts are always different - what I love the most is I won't see my bauble on someone else coming or going at another event...people who see me socially around and about Gwinnett (and beyond) KNOW if I have a beautiful piece of jewelry on - chances are I found it at Sparkle! Sparkle is my favorite "special gift" store of all time!!! They have more suprises than you can imagine. I'm on a fixed budget and no matter the occassion, I can find a wonderful gift for an economical price - and with free gift wrap and that purple bag - It's a thrill every time!! Customer service is No. 1 - if I'm having trouble finding the perfect gift, Meg and Nicole will do everything to ensure I get what I need, whether they rework a piece of jewelry or make what I want from scratch! Meg has hosted a birthday beading party for my youngest daughter and help make special charms/keepsake pieces for all my firends to purchase for my older daughters 13th birthday! A great place to find unique gifts! There is something for everybody at Sparkle....the staff is very knowledgeable and also very good at recognizing style! I love shopping here, the prices are beyond reasonable and I always find the perfect piece of jewelery for any occasion. I shop here to find pieces that I don't find at corporate stores. Every time I go out, someone always compliments my accessories! I've not had the chance to visit their actual store, but I dropped by their booth at Dragon*Con twice. I marveled at the inventiveness of their jewelry! It was unique and could be very personal for anyone on your gift list. I bought gifts for six people plus a few things for myself and spent less than $100. They were certainly not high priced in comparison to any other store I've been to. The selection was fantastic, and I made sure to get their cards for each person I got gifts for as well as myself. When I go back to Atlanta for next year's Dragon*Con, I plan on not only visiting their stall again but trying to get to their store as well! In the meantime, there's always their website! read more

I've never been to the actual store, but they were at Dragon*Con this year, and with all that was going on the whole weekend, I still managed to stop by their booth at least 4 times. Everything was so unique and cute! I ended up getting Dr Who earrings, 3 Harry Potter necklaces, and a Firefly necklace. A little more expensive than other jewelry at the Con, but worth it, as it was about 10 times cuter! As for the other girl who commented, I challenge ANYONE to make a necklace for $10 and it be as cute as the Sparkle jewelry. I would be extremely impressed!!! Sparkle is a wonderfully unique store on the square in Lawrenceville. I love that most of their things have been made by local artists and the inventory is not like any other store for that reason. Nothing cookie-cutter about it. There is something for everyone's style, and every price range, most very moderately priced and well below trendy boutiques. The owner and her staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable about all their artists, how the items were made and what they were crafted from. When I go in to get a gift for someone, I cannot help but leave with something for myself too! read more

I LOVE this store! Meg, the owner, helped me create my wedding jewelry and it turned out stunning! It was also VERY reasonably priced...if not a bit below cost. The artisans have very unique and fun styles. Contrary to what the previous commenter said, I found everything to be priced commensurate to the talent, quality and uniqueness put into each piece. The atmosphere of the store is fun and casual and Meg offers beading workshops. If you can make this jewelry at home...go for it, but I guarantee you'll find something at Sparkle that you've never seen before! read more
