My husband and I are absolutely speechless at the breathtakingly beautiful and candid wedding photos Ramin shot for us in April of this year near Sonoma. Not only is the composition and overall "look" of the photos of the highest quality, but Ramin was also able to put two very camera shy people at ease immediately with his incredibly relaxed and kind personality, plus that witty charm. Ramin is a humble, kind soul who truly goes out of his way to deliver an incredibly easy experience with phenomenal results. When we were originally looking for wedding photographers, we had a bunch of high-end options available (coming from Los Angeles), but felt very saddened by the price tag and worried we would have to settle for less on the big day. Ramin made is absolutely possible to have the very best photo experience with all of the shots we dreamed of while at the same time working with our limited funds; in fact, we felt he severely under-charged us for these photos-- that is how wonderful they are, and so well-within our budget... Not to mention that it was his daughter's birthday on the day of our wedding, and he at no point in time made us feel rushed whatsoever or even mentioned it until he was leaving! Ramin's clients feel like an absolute priority while he is working with them. Lastly, the turn around on getting the photos, of which in our chosen package we were given full access and rights to downloading in high quality from a weblink, was incredibly quick! Within 3 days we were looking at the hundreds of lovely shots from our wedding, when many of my friends say it took their photographers weeks or even months to get them their shots! I can't say enough kind words about The Marin Studio. My fiance and I met Ramin at a bridal fair looooong before our wedding and we immediately hit it off--he was so easy to talk to and his work really speaks for itself. On top of that, their pricing is a steal. You just can't find work of their quality at the pricing they offer. Period. Our engagement shoot with Ramin back in March was amazing (despite unexpectedly terrible weather). He totally rolled with the punches and made it work...and the pictures? FANTASTIC. In fact, we got our edited engagement pictures back TWO DAYS after our shoot. Yeah. TWO DAYS. Amazing. Theeeen, on the day of the wedding...we had selected a package that included both Ramin and Beth and they both showed up exactly on time with big smiles on their faces. They were like little, unobtrusive flies on the wall getting all of my requested detail shots! Beth spent the morning with the guys (and they all totally adored her and couldn't stop talking about how sweet she is) and Ramin stayed with the girls (he was equally adored!). Anyway, we, once again, had less-than-ideal weather...but they made it work! All of my family loved Ramin and Beth and still talk about them almost 2 months later. And, oooooh my goodness...the pictures. We got our pictures back about 2 weeks after the wedding and they are all absolutely gorgeous. Like many other reviewers here, we booked Ramin as our wedding photographer, and we couldn't be happier about our choice. My mom and I first met with Ramin at a coffee shop to look at some of his work and discuss available packages / our personalities and talk a little bit about what types of photos we wanted from the day. He was extremely flexible and able to put together a package that would work perfectly for us! We both (my mom and I) liked him from the start, and I knew that my then fiancé and I would be comfortable and at ease working with him. Because my husband and I live in Hawaii and our wedding was to take place in California, most of our correspondence occured via email. His professionalism and timely responses to any and all of my questions or concerns put me at ease, and I knew after just a few emails that I would not have to give the photography element of our wedding a second thought or worry. The peace of mind that hiring him provided me was priceless! On our wedding day, he arrived on time and had "scouted out" some areas for us to take photos. My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of a camera, but he put us both at ease, and it was actually very fun for us! There was a lot of laughing involved! I was not expecting that. He took great photos before, during, and after the ceremony, and he captured many special moments between guests and family members. Ramin and his wife Beth photographed our wedding in June 2013 in San Francisco. We also had the pleasure of working with Ramin in Oct. 2012 for our engagement photos. We definitely made the right decision to hire Ramin as our wedding photographer. All I wanted was one shot of us that was frame-worthy and we ended up with dozens. He was professional and calm despite challenges like rain (ack!) and a tight schedule which we appreciated since we were very anxious/nervous during the pre-wedding photos. Ramin got to our photo location early and scoped out lots of creative shots at the garden and really maximized our time there. And his efficiency didn't end after the reception was over--by the time we got back from our honeymoon 2 1/2 weeks later we already had our photos and CDs. Everything turned out much better than I expected and we're so happy with the pictures. We found Ramin through a simple web search of photographers in northern California, and I am soooo glad his studio came up in that search. My husband and I had a small destination wedding in Healdsburg, CA. We are both event planners for major fortune 100 companies. We have produced events all over the world both large and small. Ramin did an amazing job for our wedding (weekend!), he photographed two wedding ceremonies, and our reception, and we couldn't be happier with the process and the finished products. Ramin of Marin Studio is awesome! I used Ramin as the photographer for my wedding. From our first meeting my husband and I knew he would be our photographer, he was completely personable, had both modern and traditional pictures in his portfolio and didn't nickel and dime us. Our wedding was in late January 2011 and Ramin had the pictures up for viewing the first week of February, we had our completed album by mid-February. It was great to get these items early while all the moments were fresh in our minds. The results of his work were beyond great! We liked how Ramin took a traditional pose and made it modern.
