She is an absolute gem and I highly recommend working with her! Leading up to both the engagement session and the wedding, Rachel was so on top of everything. She was prompt with her communication and accommodating when it came to discussing the details of our big day. She was also proactive, which took a lot of stress out of the wedding planning process. When we came up on big planning milestones, she was always our first vendor to contact us to make sure that everything was moving along smoothly. Rachel also put us at ease from the get go. We had never taken professional photos together, but she helped by telling us exactly how to pose so we would look our best. She also made the sessions fun and relaxed, so we could really let our personalities shine. When we got our photos back from the engagement, I was so blown away. When it came to the big day, Rachel and her husband were there every step of the way. She was just as warm and friendly as the day we met her. And she captured incredible photos! We're going to cherish them for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Rachel & Tre!

I feel comfortable telling her what I'm insecure about and she's great reminding me to adjust while she's taking pictures. She's also just so much fun to be around; always happy and smiling. Her positive energy is something you need on your wedding day but just in general! I love that she shows you a few pictures on her screen halfway through shooting to make sure the vision is coming together, she also is fabulous at giving you a few pics the very next day for social media :). I'm so happy she was there for us on our wedding day, and we can't recommend her enough to others. We are so excited to use her in the future for our first anniversary, etc.

Then we attended a friend's wedding and saw how beautiful their pictures were. Needless to say, we stopped worrying about who would be the best choice and booked her. When we saw the results we were thrilled. Mind you we only had about 30 minutes for first look photos, group shots, and an hour for couple pictures because of some internal issues with timing, but she ran around with us, from the roof top of our hotel to the playground of a local park, she worked every angle. GORGEOUS pictures, great lighting, creative and definitely many 'kodak' moments. Her specialty seems to be sunlight shots or using artificial lights to add a very dramatic or romantic look (as seen in the couture fashion magazines) For example, we were sitting at a park bench in front of the Grace Cathedral with the sun slightly peaking out behind us. Love it! She is a pleasure to work with, professional, and as other yelpers said very TALENTED. Hopefully, this review will find you or vice versa and it will eliminate one more vendor whom you have to choose. She even sends a welcome packet and suggestions for what to wear and also a list of links of where to get pretty, affordable and diverse lingerie. My photoshoot was smooth and such an amazing and liberating experience. I was soooo nervous last that I couldn't fall asleep, and when I did-I kept waking up thinking I was oversleeping. When I got in there was tons of parking lot space, I came prepared with 2 coats, a kimono robe, a few off the shoulder sweaters, my favorite jacket and my boyfriends jacket that he wore when we first met. I also brought a few lingerie pieces and body suits, with some individual pieces to mix and match, 2 heels and a pair of sneakers. Be prepared to have things easy to transport as the studio is on the 2nd floor (I had a bag and carry on luggage). Her location is cute, and very clean with lots of natural lighting. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Jiyeon and Jessica (Jessica does hair and makeup). They were both super friendly and conversation was easy and made me feel so at ease and more like we were strangers just meeting. Also, if you're not used to these types of shoots you probably might want to lay off caffeine til after your shoot to keep you from being antsy and jittery since you already may be nervous or anxious. Jessica Did my hair and makeup and took a look at my wardrobe and asked if I had any styles that I liked or disliked and since I've been living in sweats this whole pandemic I chose to be bold and add color to my eyes for an extra pop, and I loved my hair and makeup! We started with a casual outfit and this helps with getting you comfortable in front of the camera, then Jiyeon helped me get my sexy outfits together. And we got it done!! My fiancee and I gave Brooke a deposit in Sept. 2012 to secure our wedding date. Four months later…read moreshe cancelled. While we were very understanding about her reason to cancel, we were extremely disappointed with the way she handled it. To sum up, Brooke withheld part of our deposit even though she had cancelled on us. This was in direct violation of the contract we signed with her. For additional details, please read on. We selected a wedding package with Brooke that contained, among a variety of other services, an engagement shoot. We weren't planning on having engagement photos taken, but since it was included in the package without additional charge, we felt it was a nice way to get to know Brooke. In our contract with Brooke, it clearly states that if she has to cancel for any reason, she will return our full deposit. Unfortunately, when Brooke cancelled on us she refused to return our deposit in full - completely in violation of the contract she signed. If you booked her today and selected any package that includes an Engagement shoot, she would withhold $750 if she cancelled on your wedding date and she already did the Engagement shoot with you. Since Brooke did provide engagement photos, we decided we would try and negotiate a fair cost for her services, even though it was included at no cost in our package. Brooke adamantly refused, replying to any contact from us in a condescending tone. We consulted with lawyers and determined that this was something we would be able to fight in court, but decided it wouldn't be worth any additional time, stress, or energy to pursue. If I was rating Brooke due to the quality of the engagement photos alone, I would have given her 3.5/5 stars. My fiancee and I thought she was very pleasant to work with during the engagement session. She did send our photographs to the wrong address, so they were late in arriving, but she resent them once I contacted her. If I were to rate her on her business practices alone, I would give her 1.5 stars for withholding a portion of our deposit without our permission and for her condescending attitude.
