Liz's inviting attitude and lovely smile immediately makes me comfortable and ready to speak with her about any issues that I may be facing. She offered advice, but mostly challenged me to think differently about my situation, posing questions that forced me to think on my own. She came prepared with exercises, book recommendations, and anecdotes tailored to my personality and therapeutic needs and goals. Liz is great at remembering the details and creates a personal relationship with clients. I always left the office with a new energy, eager to remain positive and face the day! I highly recommend Liz's therapy and practice. Thank you, Liz, for your great work.

She skillfully and patiently helped us work through some of the issues - both immediate and underlying - that had developed in our relationship, and I can honestly say that our relationship is stronger now than it ever has been. We have grown tremendously as individuals and through that growth, as a couple. Liz is extremely easy to talk to, and someone that you warm up to almost immediately. Her strength lies in her ability to listen attentively, and then help you develop the tools you need to resolve conflict and challenges that arise outside the counselling session. She is highly intuitive and does a wonderful job at articulating the importance of perspective, and the control we have over choosing how we want to proceed in life. After having made significant progress on the issues that we were struggling with, my partner and I continue to see Liz once a month. I also have individual sessions with her that always prove extremely helpful. I leave inspired and renewed, much stronger both emotionally and mentally.

Each time I was there, either by force or agreement, I was somehow traumatized by the staff unnecessarily and/or excessively restraining kids and otherwise punishing mentally ill children because of their mental states. Imagine waking up in an unfamiliar place, a confused 12 year old who's never had their blood drawn and then being rudely awoken for a blood-draw, in the dark, at 6am, and being aggressively instructed to allow some unknown person to put a needle in your arm. So many worse things have happened there, none of the needs I had from treatment were properly treated. The medications given to me were basically never appropriate for my conditions, generally ineffective and even harmful, some have left me with long term side effects, and the Doctors were always short with me and nearly universally rude and inattentive to what I was actually struggling with, which was ADHD, depression, and panic attacks. They put me on pretty dangerous anti psychotics, for a person who has never been psychotic, I needed to be taken seriously about my own experiences instead of gaslit to think I was the crazy one and then blown off when I just needed some help that nobody would take the few minutes to figure out.

Dr. Ryan came recommended to by another therapist of a close friend of mine. I called and made an appointment and have been seeing Dr. Ryan off and on for almost 3 years. Never having been to a therapist I didn't know what to expect. I mean I watched the Sopranos, and every other stereotypical show about "shrinks" so I already had some preconceived notions about therapy. All were shattered by Dr. Ryan. He's a very calm, soft spoken personable individual. He doesn't push you to come out of your shell, but at the same time he holds you accountable for what you are there for. He's easy to talk to and very insightful. I even had homework which aided me in developing certain skills. I can honestly say that the relationship I have with Brit (some of you have met my ever present +1) is stronger and more fulfilling because of the sessions I've had with Doc. He's helped me become a better communicator and has aided me in understanding what are rational and irrational feelings and more so how to convey that to someone when I didn't start out with the appropriate vocabulary to express my feelings or thoughts.

This place has changed a lot since the last time I was there . I did notice that any patient that has an assessment with Latoya Wilson didnt receive inpatient help. She comes out tells me she swear she told the doctor everything . And I highly doubt she did cus there no way with my condition that I should have been turned away from detox etc. This place is literally hiring anybody and they are half ass doing their jobs. Turning someone away couldn't been the last fight they had to get help and they go out and overdoes or kill them self this place would be held accountable for that and get sued . I will also state that if you read all the posts you will see i posted about 3 yrs ago. With that being said here you go. My dealings with Jim started 3 yrs ago. This came after going to chiropractor for over a yr along with my own stretching. I also used the inversion table. The pain and discomfort wouldnt go away. Ive had lower back surgery for spine issues and this pain was differant. So I also used accupunture in past with great results. So I went to 1 near me. After my 2nd visit I knew she was not the 1 for me. Trust me when I say ALL accupunturists are not created equal.. Just like western medicine. Some are specialists for a reason. Sorry to say its called skillsets. So now im on the search and i came upon Jim. Im not going to lie, the first to treatments were tough. Jim went right to work ... I will admit i was like wow and a lil nervous. But by the 6th treatment i felt amazing. The pain was gone. I could sleep and I could hug my other half without pain going down my leg. Here it is 3 yrs later and alls well with my leg. So at this point im like hmmmm. I may have found THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH....LOL...So since i was your typical male growing up , I had the mentality of you cant hurt me...well im here to tell you I was wrong. There are days that i ache like i got hit by a car in my upper body.. So Doc ( Jim ) and i chatted and he started on my shoulders. He got me to feeling awesome . Best i felt in yrs and im in my 60s...So i had all intentions on getting back to exercise to maintain my body. Thats the key to a healthy life...well like most americans i didnt start my exercise so i was feeling achy and having issues moving my arms... so i called Jim and said I need your help and we really examined my issues. During that Jim found a muscle group that was weaker then it should be , hence making other muscles do overtime.. So between his work and his exercises im back to feeling good. So all I can say is give this man a try. And give him a chance to figure out whats causing your issues. I can say is it took us years to beat ourselves to this point. Give him some time to figure out what you need. So trust me folks, Jim will get you back to a productive life fast... Thanks Jim for helping me continue my journey to 100...lol

I initially sought Christian's help during my divorce so that my husband and I could attend therapy…read moretogether. During that time, Christian told me privately that he did not feel he could effectively counsel my husband due to difficulties with comprehension and understanding cause and effect. As the divorce and custody process became increasingly complex and stressful, I shared serious concerns about financial disputes, ongoing legal conflict, and my overall safety and well-being. I did not feel these concerns were meaningfully addressed. I also did not feel supported in addressing the broader patterns of conflict affecting my life and my children's stability. Over time, I became concerned about what I perceived as inconsistencies between earlier statements made in therapy and later professional involvement. This left me feeling uncertain about boundaries and objectivity. I raised these concerns directly but did not feel they were adequately acknowledged or explored. This has been an extremely difficult and ongoing period in my life. I was hoping for clarity, accountability, and consistency. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I encourage others to carefully consider whether this provider is the right fit for high-conflict situations.

I originally started seeing Christian with my former partner of five years. Christian respectfully helped us navigate an unhealthy relationship without judgement. After six months of therapy my partner and I parted. For the last year and a half I have seen Christian alone. Our sessions are filled with humor, hard hitting questions, metaphors, and esoteric wondering. He is smart, spiritual, balanced, family centered, and data/research-based. He has a killer memory, is professional, visionary, and down-to-earth. I am able to vomit all sorts of twisted experiences and Christian unravels the knots and helps me find the key threads of my own story. He grounds my thinking, and helps me structure my progression. He makes my relationship mistakes feel manageable rather than a personality disorder. Although I have not found my next partner, I am on a happy and positive path, and Christian's help has been transformative.
