I was looking for a size 13 in dress shoes and asked if she could help me locate a pair. She responded by saying, "I mean I would have to scan every single shoe." Since I understood that finding the size might take some effort, I replied, "Awesome, I'll start bringing you shoes." From that point on, it felt as though my request was viewed as an inconvenience rather than a normal customer service interaction. Each time I approached her and her coworker with shoes to scan, their conversations would stop, their smiles would disappear, and their body language made me feel like I was interrupting or bothering them. As a customer, that made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I understand that checking inventory can be time-consuming, but helping customers locate the right size is a basic part of the shopping experience. I was surprised by the attitude, especially from someone in a supervisory role, where professionalism and customer service should set the example for the rest of the team. I hope this feedback is helpful, as I believe every customer should feel welcomed and treated with respect when asking for assistance.

The area of socks, sneaker balls, etc., that is next to the line was pretty messy. "Allen" stormed around the store and walked by this area and said very loudly, "What the hell happened here?" I understand it is the Holidays and people can be difficult and stores can be messy from lazy shoppers but the need to maintain professionalism is necessary, considering Allen's lanyard said, 10 Years of Service.

As a female, it's important to me that I feel safe and unpressured when I'm shopping - and that I'm not manslpained to or tried to take advantage of because of it. Sneaker stores are usually run to accommodate a specific demographic, so I don't always feel welcomed as an older female. That is not the case here as I'm always greeted by a friendly face and left to peruse without pressure to purchase. She tells me she can't do a full refund, only exchange because it's worn. I told her "No, it's not worn. I want a refund, not an exchange." So, she flips the shoe over and says, "I would not have sold it to you like this, this is damaged. We can't accept this." Insisting I did not wear the shoe, I kept demanding for a refund. I told her that I don't want an exchange, there's nothing wrong with the shoe. I probably argued with the cashier for 5 minutes. She calls for a her manager on the phone and they say the same thing. The manager never even came out to see the merchandise. Finally I took the shoe back and went some where else, but there was so way I was backing down. I finally came back a asked for a corporate number to file a complaint. Told the operator this exact story. So they sent my complaint to the district manager of this store. A day after, they sent an email, apologizing and told me to come back to the store to the return the shoes to a manager on duty. When I came back to the store, I never even got an apology. Just a pathetic 10% coupon that I denied right away. They wasted my time over a $20 shoe and losing my business completely. I had to come back twice on different days, wasting my gas.
