Took off the faceplate to find it was not cleaned or anything. They agreed and gave my wife a 9 am time slot. She took off work and they continued to push the time right until 4pm/ closing with no return calls. This review will change if we receive a call back or they show up within the time slot or window in the future. They never called back but showed up late. They were friendly and fixed the issue. No complaints and happy with overall service. Will use again in the future.

An air conditioning system is a big investment and you want an installer you can trust. Pablo and…read morehis crew did an excellent job for me. A mitsubishi system with 4 heads. They were quick and efficient and their install inside was beyond my expectations. We did have a small hiccup which they took care of immediately. In KW any repair people are difficult to get. Pablo responded to texts and calls and was here when he said. We trusted his advice while making our decision what to install. If he is available for you job, you could not find better. We had contacted him a 2 years ago about an install on a system that was being given to us. He advised against it as it was too big for our house and would have had problems. You can always find someone cheaper but Pablo is the real deal.

South Beach Cooling was recommended to me by a friend. i needed my AC unit flushed as the water…read moreoutflow was backing up into the pan which flows into the parking lot under my building. They were supposed to come out on a Friday and were given specific instructions to call first for entry. I received no call and no one showed. I called back and was told someone knocked and when no one answered, they left. Clearly, listening is a problem. They showed the following week and told me my coil needed to be cleaned which costs $600. I was not present and this was demonstrated my shaking out my air filter in my kitchen. Really? I never got video of the coil. My mistake for not asking. I was told the job was done and system had been flushed and was clean. I was told there was no water in the pan. Within 24 hours my condo association called and said it was still leaking and there was water in my pan. I drove down from Miami to check this out. The condo was right and i was able to verify my AC is the problem. I called SBC again. They showed at the end of the day on Monday after i left to go back to Miami and told me there is no leak and all is well. Ridiculous. The water was there all weekend and in the morning. i paid $600 for a flushing and coil cleaning i may or may not have needed. My condo association is now charging me to have it done by them. Are they lazy or incompetent at SBC? i don't know. ES

We contracted NC Tile of Marathon Florida to complete a tile job in our home. We would like to…read moreshare the experience we had working with this company. The job consisted of completing the floor we had already began as well as 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. We thought we could accomplish this part ourselves; however, due to time constraints we could not. They sent 2 workers to our home. The workers consistently showed up no earlier than 10 am. They would normally work until 12;00 or 13:00 and then take lunch for 30 minutes to an hour. When they did resume work, it would only be for a few hours, and they would leave by 15:00. A few times they would stay later, just a few. I believe they were based in Marathon; the job was no more than 30 to 45 minutes away depending on traffic. The owner of the company asked us to provide gas money for his workers. We paid him over $12,000 for this work. We did not have bathroom facilities on the job. The HoA did not allow porta-potty's on the property. However, there were complete bathroom facilities, including showers no further than 100 yards away. We provided transportation in the form of a golf cart to use these facilities. The workers decided to urinate in water bottles instead of using the public restrooms. To make this matter worse, the hid the bottles filled with their urine behind various building materials throughout the house. We were left to dispose of them ourselves rather than tolerate the odor, especially over the weekend. This was rather disgusting. They completed the job without sealing the grout. When we inquired, we were told by the owner that he did not include this task on his bid. We are not tile installers; however, even a novice would know that grout sealant is an integral part of a tile job. Furthermore, gaps, missing grout, and grout lines that were not completely fill were everywhere. The floor was left filthy with patches of mortar and grout. There were several areas where the grout was already dirty because it was not sealed. We asked the owner to send them back to complete the cleaning. The workers returned for a few hours only to accomplish minimal improvement. We WOULD NOT recommend NC Tile of Marathon for any tile job. Their workmanship, punctually, and hygiene is, at the very least, questionable. We understand they have a store in Key Largo as well.
