I would never recommend anyone to have to deal with such sensitive issues such as insurance claims with someone who is this rude. This was in regards to a situation dealing with water coming into our home- this shows the respect that she would take with your claim as well, something to keep in mind.

I really like this insurance company. I had 2 other amercian family agencies I was not happy with…read moreand I almost gave up on them till I had this one. One of the best as far as professionalism and rates. I have had the pleasure of working with Dan Sparks and anytime I left a message or had a question, I received a call or email from him. He would go over with me on all my insurance needs annually being that I had my cars, home, investment and umbrella policies with him. Everyone in the office was very kind ESPECIALLY Jorie Grapenthien. She handled most of my transactions with autos and I cannot say enough good things about her. Always greeted me kindly on the phone and very attentive with my situation. They gave me the option of removing and adding coverages when my son went back to college and everytime I called, I was sent an email that the cars were either out of storage or back in storage. The only reason I left was due to a car accident my son had 3 years ago that will not fall off till september 2019 which is more corporate rules than the individual agency. Their rates on the other policies beat the competitor. Looking very forward to coming back later this year since they will be able to compare 'apples to apples' once September rolls around on auto policy.

We've been with this agency since 2018 and initially had a professional agent, Robert Soultar, who…read morewas very helpful. Unfortunately, after he left, our experience has been extremely disappointing. One of our claims was denied without a clear explanation, and it seems no one at the Arachas Group is aware of the situation. We've been trying to get assistance from our account manager, Marlena Shaffer, but she mentioned she has no authority to resolve the issue. As we all know, an agent should step in and support their client when problems arise -- but that hasn't been the case here. I've even tried to find out who our main company representative is, without any success. Overall, it's been a frustrating experience with unprofessional and unskilled service. Be cautious before working with this company.

Usually it's for something simple, like wondering where my bill is. But I did have 1 auto claim, and it went smoothly. I didn't have to do anything besides call them and say what happened. They handled everything. American Family actually wanted to drop us from their insurance a while ago because I have a Black Lab/Rottweiler mix dog that we adopted. The nicest dog you would ever meet and would slobber all over you, but someone somewhere at AmFam panicked after seeing 'Rottweiler'. Robert suggested that he come to the house to get a picture taken siting next to our dog and to send it to AmFam and say 'nice dog'. Instead of sitting there, Robert kinda got slobbered on. Way above and beyond, and incredible service. I highly recommend Robert Tenzillo. There needs to be a 6th star on this review; someone add it please.
