One of the best as far as professionalism and rates. I have had the pleasure of working with Dan Sparks and anytime I left a message or had a question, I received a call or email from him. He would go over with me on all my insurance needs annually being that I had my cars, home, investment and umbrella policies with him. Everyone in the office was very kind ESPECIALLY Jorie Grapenthien. She handled most of my transactions with autos and I cannot say enough good things about her. Always greeted me kindly on the phone and very attentive with my situation. They gave me the option of removing and adding coverages when my son went back to college and everytime I called, I was sent an email that the cars were either out of storage or back in storage. The only reason I left was due to a car accident my son had 3 years ago that will not fall off till september 2019 which is more corporate rules than the individual agency. Usually it's for something simple, like wondering where my bill is. But I did have 1 auto claim, and it went smoothly. I didn't have to do anything besides call them and say what happened. They handled everything. American Family actually wanted to drop us from their insurance a while ago because I have a Black Lab/Rottweiler mix dog that we adopted. The nicest dog you would ever meet and would slobber all over you, but someone somewhere at AmFam panicked after seeing 'Rottweiler'. Robert suggested that he come to the house to get a picture taken siting next to our dog and to send it to AmFam and say 'nice dog'. Instead of sitting there, Robert kinda got slobbered on. To start with if you are a customer you will have to call every six months to get your rates back down because they are constantly going up. This may not be their issue, but how they deal with it is. I emailed to talk about how my rates could be fixed because they had gone up AGAIN. The person I spoke with (Vanessa) was not helpful at all. She did not even try to help me. She said you have all the discounts available and you should actually add coverage to your car. Doesn't seem like adding coverage would lower my rates? Anyway I called and Vanessa answered the phone. I asked to speak with someone else because I had already talked to her and she was not helpful in my opinion. She got very defensive and asked me why I wanted to talk to someone else and they would tell me the same thing. The next person I spoke to was so nasty and not helpful at all. She told me that if I got a better quote somewhere else I should go there because obviously Allstate was out of my budget? Interesting. I asked her to cancel my policy and called a different agency (still Allstate) where she actually went through my policy and gave me a few options to lower my rates. Obviously this office does not care about their customers because I had better service from an agent I never worked with than one I have been dealing with for years.
