So I called Flawless Finish Power Washing in Westwood and asked Sean to pass by and provide us with an estimate to soft wash those roof sections. He checked our roof and provided us with a reasonable estimate to soft wash the sections. His estimate was very detailed and he included photos showing exactly where he would provide the soft washing. Once the weather improved his team was able to pass by and they finished the job in reasonable time. They did an excellent job - our roof looks great. If this happens again next year - I will call Flawless Finish to clean our roof.

I hired Paul to install a new drainage solution in both my front and back yard, regrade the top soil away from the house, and install belgium block window wells around the basement windows. After speaking to several other drainage contractors for estimates, Paul stood out the most. He had the most detailed plan for the new drainage solution and it was clear he thought through many details the others did not. His price was very reasonable, he is extremely responsive, and he clearly communicates his plan, scheduling, and explains everything very thoroughly in advance. We're very happy with the new drainage, and can finally enjoy our yard without it being a muddy mess after every rain! Given the great work Paul and his team did, I've hired Paul again for additional landscape work, including demo of old shrubs and trees, installing paver edging, and laying down new sod in the backyard. Paul and his team are a pleasure to work with and I'll certainly be using P&P Landscaping for all my upcoming landscaping projects going forward. Thanks again Paul for the great work!

I contracted for repair of a chimney vent (for the furnace). The work was done before a rain storm and when I questioned him about it he said that the rain would not damage the work. They did the work, the rain came. The next day I went on the roof to check it out. The rain had washed away much of the "crown" and mortar patches in the brick! To his credit, he came the next business day and fixed it. But, what if I had not gone up on the roof? I'm a senior in good health, but what if I couldn't? Also, not knowing what the job entailed, I accepted the estimate. The job took less than two hours. Brain surgeons don't make as much as I paid. VERY expensive. Dishonest, unreliable and fraudulent. Brian Heres was hired (and paid) to mow our lawn weekly…read more After somebody working for him mistakenly broke a glass panel (rock from weed whacker), Brian acknowledged this face-to-face and said "well, I owe you a window" then commented how this was only the second time it occurred in his 20+years of business. He said he was going to take care of it and get a contractor to come replace the panel. Obviously this stuff happens and it is not the end of the world but the way it was handled was reprehensible. After leaving broken glass on my patio, Brian left and was unresponsive to any outreach for a week. Finally my wife texted him and he responded saying he's been busy trying to find a contractor to fix the window and asked if we could do the same. I will give him a benefit of the doubt but we called 3 local window contractors - none of which had heard from him. After we found a contractor to fix the window, we connected Brian to them so he could pay them to get started. It has been 4 weeks with absolutely no response from Brian (phone calls, text messages, emails - both from my wife and I and the window panel replacement contractor). Now he's ghosted us and left us with a $2000 replacement panel bill... and he obviously stopped showing up to cut the grass. Of course being stiffed with a $2000 unexpected repair is not great, but being ghosted by Brian after leaving shattered glass all over my patio is far more offensive. It was made clear to him, if he can't pay that it was understood but at least return the phone call and send somebody to clean up the broken glass... At least to protect my five year old and two year old from serious injury. I have video and audio evidence of all of this along with text messages previously asking for quotes on additional work (which he kept saying he would do then never did).
