Incredibly rude. Saw Dr Schwartz years ago and have not returned. There are many other dermatologists in this area.

I know several friends and acquaintances who have had skin cancer, and I know someone who passed away from it, so I try to stay vigilant about my skin. That is a big change from my younger years when I spent hours in the sun without protection and never thought twice about it. After noticing a few areas of concern, I scheduled an appointment in early October. The first available visit was early February, but I kept it because I wanted peace of mind and to stay proactive. The Latham location was easy to get to and there was plenty of parking. The office was clean, spacious, and welcoming. I was greeted right away, completed new patient paperwork, and was taken back within a few minutes. After discussing my concerns with the technician, Dr. Menon came in shortly after. She was warm, upbeat, and thorough. She carefully examined the areas I mentioned and determined they were not cancerous, which was a huge relief. After waiting months for the appointment, getting clear answers and reassurance meant a lot. Checkout was smooth and there were no insurance issues. The visit felt organized, professional, and patient focused from start to finish. I highly recommend this practice for anyone who wants to be proactive about caring for their skin. This is a place I would gladly return to and definitely will. 5 stars.

I was told that once they had received the blood test results they would call me to set up an appointment. I got the test at Lab Corp. They said they would send their report to Magnolia. Over a week passed so I called to find out where we stood. Then the fun began. You can't talk to a person, you leave a message and they'll call you back. But no one calls. I wait a week and try another call. This time I was told I was #2 in line and I would have 3 minute wait. Their robot then changed that wait time to 2 min. then 1 min. then 6 and 7 min, respectfully, Dr.Tracy may well be a fine doctor, but how do you get in touch with her.

Erin makes such a wonderful "face" of the practice, and has been (and continues to be) an absolute pleasure to work with - she is a shining example of top-tier customer service, and her accommodating, bubbly attitude and highly responsive communication skills crafts a richly positive first impression for both new and returning patients. Each and every leg of the procedure process at this practice has, in my experience, been pleasant, enjoyable, comfortable and flawlessly executed. Finally, at the top of the long, long list of positive aspects of my experience: Beckie! Words do not sufficiently do justice her exceptional skill and artistry, not to mention her deep knowledgebase, wit, and genuinely warm bedside manner. She is just as much a skilled medical professional as she is an artist - by far the most positive experience I've had to-date with injectables. I honestly could not imagine going anywhere else, and look forward to returning this week and in the weeks to come to explore more of the services and procedures offered here. Thank you very kindly, I appreciate all that you all do!

Dr. saw us for a combined less than 10 minutes. Her exam was not thorough at all and required us to specifically point out spots on our skin that were of concern vs her wanting to do her job well and be as thorough as possible. She then froze 1 spot on each of our backs - quick zip zip and sent us on our way. We then received a bill totaling over $725. We called many times and asked for a code review or adjustment, called our insurance company and spoke to the office manager. Each time they told us they would look into it and call us back. Assured us this would not be sent to collections and they would be in touch. It has been over a year and this is still not resolved. No one from this office ever calls us back AND we found out they did send to collections despite assuring us this would never happen. Needless to say we will NOT be going back to this office and encourage others to stay away. Absolutely horrible experience.

Having worked by appointment most of my adult life I realize how important the clients' time is. Once you are late for your 1st or 2nd client you are late the rest of the day. Dr. Hillary has a habit of chatting with her office staff with no regard for the time. Last week I waited about 20 minutes in the examining room while she chatted and giggled with her staff. When I asked someone at the desk if it would be much longer she told me she did not know. Soon the Dr. came in and basically dismissed me and said she would give me the number of Latham Dermatology that they were taking new patients. She quickly "treated" me and I agreed I would take the phone number and information for Latham Dermatology. I still can't believe that a "Professional" person would be so condescending to her patient. Maybe she and her staff should take lessons in customer service. Lord knows they need it. When I called Latham Dermatology to set up an appointment the professionalism was very noticeable. I can't wait for my appointment in six months. I'm sorry I did not make the change years ago. Good luck to those that stay.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. UNLAWFULLY OPERATED…read more The practice is run by a Physician Assistant (PA), but New York State law clearly states that PAs must work under the supervision of a licensed physician. When I asked to speak with their Medical Director, I was told they didn't have one. (Article 131-B of the New York Education Law governs the practice of physician assistants in the state.) The injector GiGi performed unauthorized treatments, including injecting Botox into my gummy lines--something I never requested or approved. When I returned to address the poor results, the PA had to step in to sternly direct the injector to only use half an injection to fix the Spock brow I had been left with. Despite these efforts, the results were far from satisfactory. My appearance resembled what can only be described as a "serial killer" smile. (See below pictures) They also convinced me to choose a "lip flip" instead of lip fillers, claiming it would help "quiet my facial muscles" before injections. It's unclear whether the resulting smile was caused by the lip flip or the unauthorized gummy line injections, but the outcome has been devastating. Even three months later, my smile is still not back to normal, despite being told that the effects would wear off quickly. The dismissive attitude that mistakes don't matter because "Botox wears off" is unacceptable. If a procedure's effects last for months, the least they can do is get it right the first time. Another alarming issue is their lack of transparency. While consent and waiver forms are uploaded to the online portal, they fail to include any documentation of the injection sites. This omission feels deliberate, and it makes me question what they might be trying to hide. On a personal level, this experience ruined what should have been a joyful time. I had just returned from a 10-month military deployment and was looking forward to reuniting with my loved ones. I wanted to look refreshed and less stressed, but instead, I ended up feeling self-conscious and unattractive. I even asked my boyfriend to delay proposing because I didn't want to look this way in engagement photos. It's heartbreaking that such a special moment had to be put on hold because of their carelessness. The staff assured me that what happened to me was rare and that the effects would subside quickly. However, after extensive research, I found only one similar case online, which confirms that my experience is far from normal.
