I picked Dr Valentino graduate school when I needed what turned out to be a serious amount of dental work (5 root canals, yikes!). After starting a treatment plan with one office in Cambridge it became clear that they were not very professional. I interviewed several dentists and picked Dr Valentino. I ended up selecting John because of his scientific approach, friendly demeanor, efficient meticulous work, reasonable prices and his ability to pragmatically schedule my work to maximize my dental plan benefits. I chose very, very well. Quite amazingly, Dr Valentino is a one man shop---he does all the work---running the office, IT, hygiene, fillings, root canals, customer entertainment (interesting stories) and crowns himself. Very, very impressive. During the course of two years Dr Valentino performed 5 root canal treatments and got what was a very depressing dental situation back under control without breaking the bank. Ten years later, not a single root canal has failed and my crowns are perfect. I owe my smile to Dr Valentino's excellent work. I couldn't be happier.

They let me know Dr. Sasson had a big case in the morning but they would get the message to him as soon as possible. He called me back not 10 minutes later with the number of someone in my new town. He let me know he'd be calling them immediately to let them know I was one of his patients. He's also just the nicest man, as is everyone who works for him. The office is very accessible and as soon as I'm back in Boston I'll be returning to Dr. Sasson. I highly recommend him for anyone, whether they have a dentist phobia or not. You will feel very comfortable and will be completely taken care of.

Tocci Dental is overpriced and overrated. Dr. Tocci has all of the fancy tools to make him look…read morelike he knows what he's doing, but those fancy tools come at a cost. I went to Tocci for several cleanings while I lived in MA between 2008 and 2010. From my first visit until my last Tocci repeatedly told me that I needed two crowns done, to the tune of $1,795 each (by comparison, my very good dental plan only considered $600 to be a fair and reasonable charge, meaning I would have had to pay $1,195 out of pocket). He even went so far as to state that at least one of them was desperately needed to save the tooth. What tipped me off that this may be suspect was all of the paperwork he wanted you to sign basically stating that it was a purely cosmetic proceedure and not medically necessary. I work as an insurance underwriter, so I took the time to read through everything and understand it. I then sought a 2nd opinion from a well-qualified dentist, and that dentist informed me that I did not need any crowns done at all, not even close. Even if I did, he only charged $950 per crown, not $1,795. On top of this, Tocci told my wife that she needed two cavities filled. She also sought a 2nd opinion and only needed one filled. So, if you go to Tocci, you'll get a good cleaning, but be weary of his trying to sell you on unncessary dental or cosmetic procedures. Many Wellesley residents may have the extra cash floating around that it's not a big deal, hence why he has been able to get away with this. But if you don't want to spend the extra bucks, I suggest going elsewhere.

When I first started seeing them, I had a few cavities. They told me nicely about the right habits for maintaining good teeth every time I went back for cleaning. I think the idea just grows in my mind and eventually I almost never had any cavities. I also love my hyginist Stephanie. She's so detail-oriented and almost spend an hour on cleaning every time. I could tell they're all passionate about their jobs. The office is super clean, and I never had to wait for my appointment. I wish I could find a dentist like them in the new city!

They were able to accommodate my schedule and I drove up from NYC to Boston for the appointment. I arrived a little early to fill out my paperwork and was taken in right after submitting it. I sat down, we confirmed the work that was needed and got started. I didn't even feel the needle! I remember I was so shocked that I asked what products he was using so that I could order them when I get back to the office. Anyway, Dr. Kamachi has the surest hands in dentistry and I can think of no greater endorsement than to say he is a dentist's dentist. If I would drove up from NYC to see him (I know someone else who flew to Boston from Kuwait after a scooter accident for cosmetic work), then you can be confident you are seeing and receiving the best.

I've been to two teeth cleanings with him so far (both covered by my insurance) and just came out of my crown filling replacement. In and out in 20 minutes and the filling is BETTER than what I initially had (better as in comfort, shape, height). He put my son at ease and we will be seeing him until my son needs adult dentistry. The orthodontist was also VERY nice and professional. My son did not end up needing braces and I was obviously thrilled by that! I do have to say I liked the general dentist assistants more than the orthodontic. The girl who took pictures of my son's mouth was very rough even when he told her the way she stretched his mouth was hurting him. Other than that, we love this business!

BIG mistake, the misplaced bridge work caused my existing front tooth to crack. But I was desperate since my front teeth were involved. It's been a long very expensive journey with him. As a matter of fact, he filed down existing teeth to make his work FIT???? He wore one tooth down so badly, he actually had to replace his own crown. I was torn to report him, as Dr. Brodie always went out of his way to help me. I should've documented every visit and regret not leaving him sooner. Is this business still open? I needed to review my previously positive rating. Being patient for…read moremany years, I tried really hard to re-establish care after the COVID lockdown. The phone message, when I tried to contact them, always said that they are trying to catch up with messages, and will get back to people eventually, even if delayed due to covid. However, despite for calling for several months, asking for a phone call back, then just asking them to notify me if they cannot have me, I will look for another dentist, then eventually I called several times, begging for my records. NEVER got a call, nothing. I even thought they may have closed down, or perhaps Dr. Brodie is no longer practicing. But the business appears still open, so I am not sure why I was ghosted. In any case, that is very poor customer service and unexplainable treatment of a loyal patient.
