The medical care has been top notch. Dr's McHood, Lindsley, and Miller all listen to my issues, and take the best medical action possible. Their assistants have always been through in the in processing. Making sure the Dr is ready and already has a good idea of what I am there for. Thanks to the whole team for being so on top of things as best you can be during a Pandemic. The public seems to forget, you are short staffed, over booked and are risking your safety to help others. My kids have been coming here for years and overall, we've had really good experiences here…read more There are numerous providers in the office, but two youngest children both see Dr. Randall. I have nothing but positive things to say about him as a physician. As a parent, he has never once made me feel rushed or like my concerns weren't valid. He sits down at every appointment and takes his time to ask questions, examine, and also make sure all my questions are answered. My children like him a lot and have always looked forward to their annual check-ups. He makes parents and his patients feel at ease. You will never feel like he is just rushing through the appointment and he always makes us feel like we are the only people there, which is something I appreciate because I know he sees numerous patients every day. The office is rather large and has plenty of exam rooms on both sides of the office. The staff is generally pretty friendly and I never find it too hard to make an appointment or my children when needed. The office looks a little different now thanks to COVID-19. What used to be a play area for the kids in the waiting room is now empty. There are no longer toys or books in the exam rooms and "sick" visits enter through a different door than "well" visits. I highly recommend Missoula Valley Pediatrics and it would definitely be my first choice if I were new to the area. They are located in Physician Building 3 of the Community Medical Center campus, and there is plenty of parking no matter what time of day you arrive.

What…read morewas finally the last straw was when we recently were late for an appt and treated quite awfully by Rachel, who seems to be the only office staff they have left. We called because we were running late for an annual exam. Once we arrived, granted we were 20 minutes late, Rachel refused to allow our child to be seen and would not even let the nurse or doctor know we were there. Since we don't live in Missoula this was a lot of driving for nothing and then to not even be permitted to wait and be seen later was quite disappointing. Rachel was extremely rude and explained they had new policies that now restricted appts to a length of only 10 to 20 minutes depending on the type of appt. We do not want to be in this type of corporate atmosphere since child healthcare should not be on a timer and should mean more than a just a daily quota number. Since there are plenty of good pediatric offices here in Missoula we have moved on to a much better group of people and more up to date facilities as well. Check out Western Montana Pediatrics!
