What makes this worse is that the clinic has done little to make the situation right. We were reassured there would be no costs to correct the issue, yet I still received a substantial bill. This experience has left us feeling let down both medically and ethically. Patients deserve competent care and honest, responsible follow-through when mistakes happen. The staff at Community FirstCare Urgent Care were excellent--they scheduled me in right away and got me seen quickly. Mary, the attending PA, recognized the seriousness of the injury and explained that it was beyond what they could treat in-office. She referred me to a specialist without delay, which proved to be the right call. I am grateful for the prompt and professional care I received at Community FirstCare, and especially for Mary's attentiveness and judgment in getting me the help I needed. The follow-up care in Missoula was equally excellent, and together both facilities ensured I could safely finish my travels.
