HOWEVER, after my x-ray the doctor told me my sesamoid was naturally separated but not fractured, just inflamed. They gave me a pad for my shoe and basically said to rest for two weeks and then see how it felt. Because I wanted more clarity on my diagnosis, I looked for the visit notes in the patient portal. The visit notes were not posted to the portal for two weeks after my appointment. When they finally posted, the notes say that I DID have a fracture even though the doctor said I did not. I am very confused and frustrated about the delayed notes and inconsistent diagnosis.

One MA was compassionate among the 7 different staff we interacted with. The information was just barely sufficient. I think that they either are not trained to interact with anyone with anxiety/autism/elderly or any mental health variation, or they don't care. And it matters when helping someone in a potential emergency. What I took away from the experience was a new fear that I might one day need emergency care and end up there myself.
