I saw Dr. Thomas a couple of times, and it went well. But the last time... My orthotics were giving me trouble, and he just kind of tuned them up, replacing the covering. But they submitted a bill to the insurance company for entirely new orthotics. They also had political media blaring in the waiting room. Totally unprofessional. This was a few years ago, so hoping he's got new staff who bill correctly and keep the waiting room free of politics. read more

Dr. Thomas was nice, but the receptionist was EXTREMELY RUDE! They mail you all these forms to fill out ahead of time, then when I got there, they hadn't even entered them into the computer, so I had to sit there while they did that. **During this time, they asked what pharmacy i used. I said I didn't have one yet, I was new to town. They told me to just pick one, so I asked if I could just get a written prescription when the older lady FROM THE OTHER ROOM pipes in that everything is electronic now, so they don't do written prescriptions. Then she says, "You're a pharmacist, you should know that." (actually I am, and that is not true at all). The visit with the Dr. was ok, but didn't ask if I had any questions... Wasn't sure if I was supposed to leave when he did or not, so I finally decided to interrupt all 3 staff's fantasy football conversation to ask... **2-3 weeks later, the same receptionist calls to tell me I have to call the insurance company in order for the claim to go thru, which was fine, but then she tells me how I have to do it right away, because "this has already been forgotten about for too long." What the hey? I honestly hadn't even received anything in the mail yet from them OR the insurance company. **Then, after my claim finally went thru (took the insurance company a month), I got a bill from them and paid it in person within a week. At which point, the friendly receptionist said something to the effect of "about time." Oh, and she also had me sign a billing form (that wasn't even filled out yet) and told me that it was giving consent to treat. Uh, no, that was actually a different form. I know how to read. And it's actually insurance fraud to fill it out after it's been signed. Just FYI. read more

My young daughter was being treated for warts on her foot. Dr. Thomas rubbed some cream on her foot and put in a medical claim for surgery! Of course, surgical services fees went toward our deductible, making the expense "out of pocket." When I called and suggested the medical coding was incorrect and to please resubmit with an accurate medical code I was accused of asking them to lie. Then the secretary promised to ruin my daughter's credit if she didn't pay. Go elsewhere. read more
