My neck pain had turned me into a person who was in consistently in fight or flight mode, tightening around the affected areas, not able to take a full breath, using substances to enjoy a couple hours a day where I was not in pain. Being in that constricted state had a ripple effect, causing anxiety and social isolation because I could not hold my attention long enough to enjoy conversation as I had to keep my body moving to distract from pain. Dr Moore changed that however. I was in an auto accident and after several months of unhelpful physical therapy, I was referred by a physician to see Dr. Moore. I was able to get a quick appointment with him and on my initial consultation Dr. Moore was upfront with this expectations and plan of care/treatment. He explained everything prior to proceeding and made sure I was clear on what was going to happen. He put me at ease and my trepidations quickly turned to tempered enthusiasm for an eventual recovery (something I had lost through months of prior treatment with other providers). I have since recommended him to family and friends (and even a few strangers) and everyone that has seen him as come back to thank me for it.
