Given that Joseph Chevrolet is close enough to where I live that I didn't need Nancy the Navigator in my Equinox to get there, I decided to give this dealership a shot, and let me say that I did not leave disappointed. It took a little bit of time to get my requests done, but given how busy it was on a Friday morning, that was completely understandable. My Service Advisor was extremely polite and professional, and the work was done completely and correctly. Long Story My Mother-in-Law had bought a vehicle from Jeff Wyler Honda on Colerain less than 24 hours later she decided the vehicle wasn't for her. Went to Joseph Chevrolet the Salesman Stuart Marsh drove her back to Jeff Wyler told her to tell them she didn't want the vehicle and to leave the keys and walk away. Stuart Marsh tells her not to worry about anything he's gonna take care of her. About a month Later Wyler calls and tells her to come get her car or they are going to start charging her storage fees. Shame on Wyler they should have taken the vehicle back. So She calls Stuart Marsh and tells him. He proceeds to call Wyler and pretend to be her son and rips them a new one. Needless to say Wyler was at that point unwilling to work with us. Stuart Marsh tells both of us not to worry he's gonna take care of it. This has been going on for months. Stuart Marsh keeps telling her they are working on it. But fails to call her and keep her updated. Last Thursday we were told he was expecting to hear good news on Friday. A Week has gone by and still no answers. So I call Stuart Marsh. He kept talking over me and I told him to be quiet and listen. I told him we feel like he's been blowing smoke up my 80 year old mother - in - laws A--. At that point I ask to speak with the General manager Reese Powers and Stuart Marsh tells me he's left for the day. I hang up call back and I'm told Reese is on another line. So I call back every 5 minutes or so, to be quite honest at this point I'm not even sure Stuart Marsh was telling us the truth about even reaching out to Wyler Colerain. Finally get ahold of Reese and ask him what is going on and he informs me that they basically have done all they can. DO NOT get your car serviced here. Took my vehicle in for a simple oil change and they messed it up. My husband was on the highway the next day and my car starting shutting down. It wouldn't go over 20 mph. Turns out the technician didn't put the filter back on properly all of the oil leaked out everywhere. Then they tried to down play it to me like it's not a big deal for a car to run out of oil while being drove. read more

WORST SERVICE DEPT. EXPERIENCE I took my Chev Cruze to be repaired and since I had to ask for the manager, each service crew member that sits in the back where you talk to them first decided to do a buddy buddy system and treat me as if I did not matter. My car was down for a month and each time I called for follow up, I would either get put on hold until the phone hung up or just hung up on. After I received my car back I notified the manager with the recorded conversations via email and I did not hear anything. It's a buddy buddy system there. For the past 2 years I have noticed the service productivity, professionalism, and accurate information has went totally out the door with this company. The service guys only want to charge you the highest amount for service without researching your auto history that is in their computer. I bought my car from them and I would not purchase another vehicle from this place. Save your time and go across the street to another dealership that will treat you like your a person. Brought my truck up for a ROUTINE OIL CHNAGE. Was quoted 45 minutes so I waited around. 2 hours later my truck is done. When employee is taking off of lift, I am WATCHING him from the hall as he destroys my tires, take it for a 7 minutes test drive and I leave, furious for the time I just spent there and caused me to pick my child up late for daycare which I then had to pay a fee for him staying late. When I get home my fiancé comes out and notices the scuffs on my tires. I immediately call and tell the service dept what happened, she advised me to bring it up and the service manager Jordan would look at it. Brought my truck up less than 45 minutes after I left the building, Jordan scanned my invoice, came out looked at my truck and said he would review video and get back to me. the next day I didn't hear anything so I reached out, he advised he would tae care of it and if not he would make it right. After about a month, they got me in a loaner car. when I dropped off my truck, Jordan asked if there was anything else, I told him the alignment was off and brakes squeaked since I got my oil changed, he sad he would take care of those issues. I even have that in a text message before I went to drop it off. My truck was sitting in a parking spot for SIX DAYS WITH NO COMMUNICATION FROM THEM WHATSOEVER. On day 6, I called and got the run around from multiple employees. Finally I spoke t Steve, who informed me that nothing was done to my truck, he pulled it in and got a tech to instal the starter. I go to get my truck because I need it for vacation that we had scheduled for months. When I picked it up, Steve came to introduce himself and said whatever was not done, Jordan will call tomorrow and get those taken care of. Never did he, again I had to reach out. It has been months since this occurred and they are now taking 0 responsibility and refuse to correct this !! read more

I just got off the phone and had a lengthy discussion with Chris in Sales. I bought a used car there awhile ago and the saleswoman didn't give me the extra key. I didn't notice for awhile and when I called about it they I could come in and just get one--but I'd have to come in on Tuesday between 9a-10a only. They never told me I had to have paperwork to prove I was owed a key. I work during the week and so my mother went in several times and was turned away each time because the one guy who makes the keys was already gone or too busy, etc. I then got sick and was in and out of the hospital so getting in to get another key was not on my mind. Then, when my mom went in again on a Tuesday, the time had been changed to Wednesday. Up until now, it wasn't an issue; however, I now need the second key for work. I explained this several times (although I was talked over/interrupted repeatedly) but Chris basically called me a liar and that I had to have the paperwork... that no one gave me. He was so incredibly rude and the whole experience has been a nightmare. Not only was it their error that I didn't get the second key, they didn't make any notes in their system and I now have to pay for one out of pocket. I set an appointment and brought my car here for a service bulletin. I was told that there would be a charge of $110 if my car didn't need this repair. If it did need the repair, I would be charged the $110 to diagnose a brake noise. My husband challenged this charge, seemed like double dipping. We could take this to our local mechanic and he would check my brakes for free. After leaving the car at our appointed time on a Wednesday we waited. Never heard back from the dealer the next day and my husband called to check on it. He left a message for the service representative to call us back which he never did. When my husband called back at 5 he was told that our car had not been looked at yet and someone would call him on Friday by lunch with an update. Luckily we have two cars to use but it was still inconvenient to be without one of them for that time. When Friday came around and lunch time passed with no phone call, my husband called again. He was told that our car still had not been looked at by Friday after having an appointment on Wednesday! He asked to speak to a manager and conveniently there were none in on Friday. He asked to speak to the manager of the Chevrolet dealership and after being on hold for 10 minutes was told that the manager would call him back. That never happened either. Finally Friday at 5 we received a call that our car had been repaired. It did need the work from the service bulletin and we would not be charged the diagnostic fee. This was the worst treatment we ever received from any dealer service department. I would almost rather drive farther to avoid ever having to go back to Joseph Chevrolet again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE especially if you are a female. After an hour of being lied to and the salesman trying to trick me into leasing a car I could not afford, I was ready to go. But they just one more trick up their sleeve. The salesman sent my dad out to look at yet another car, separating us, while cornering me ALONE in my own car. I was bothered until I opened the car door for them, at that point I was told to talk to the boss "he's the nice one" and other suggestive tactics as the boss put his arms over the top of my door so I could not shut it easily. I eventually raised my voice enough and grabbed the door with enough force that I was able to shut it and ignore them standing there. This is car sales at it's ABSOLUTE WORST. I will never return to this dealership or any associated with it. To the salesman that "helped" me-- I hope that one no one ever treats your twin daughters with the same disrespect and intimidation that you subjected to me that day. Buyer beware, this used car lot is terrible. If I could rate this a 0 I would do it. They run the used car lot like a mom and pop business. They ou offered a used car for sale without first inspecting the vehicle. A reputable car dealer would never offer, negotiate or even sale a car without performing the inspection first. During our transaction the sales person Courtney Gales engaged in deceptive, dishonest sales tactics promising services that were not completed after the sale but stating services did not need documentation. Courtney was extremely motivated to help complete the sale, but extremely unhelpful and unconcerned with getting to a resolution afterwards. When we attempted to address issues with him he was rude and disrespectful. Stating we were keeping him from making sales because we expected him to "take care" of us and he promised. Customers should never be addressed in this manner. Management was just as asinine during my attempts to resolve issues with the sale. I wasted numerous hours during the sale and had to make multiple visits to get follow ups. I left notes as well as made phone calls but the follow up was poor at best. My fiance went to buy a used car at this dealership and while the Salesman was great, every problem since then has been horrible. A couple weeks after we bought the car the engine light came on and the front right tire was squeaking, so we called for them to fix it and they said they were booking out two weeks and we needed to just make an appointment. I said no, that I demanded for someone to look at it the next business day that is was available so we took it on a Sunday night. Wednesday of that week comes around and I've gotten no call of what was wrong with the car. I call them, they have no idea what i'm even talking about and they have no idea where the car was even at. Finally two days later they call back saying what was wrong with the car and they didn't know if they were going to fix it because it was a used car. It was very bad communication between used cars and the service department. So, days later I get a call saying that they're going to pay for it and that the parts are on back order. They wanted us to pick up the car because it was still drive able. 2 weeks later, I have not heard anything and every time I call they act like no one even knows who I am and I have to explain the situation over and over. The parts finally come in and Joseph Chevrolet promised that they would give us a rental car during this time and they fought us over giving it to us. It has been a very bad experience with this Company, and we've bought cars from them before and it has never been this bad. It is very unorganized, and I'm hoping after they repair everything that was needed done we will no longer have to have any communication with them. Its been absolute ridiculous. If I can give no stars I would. So let's just say I bought a used car at the end of May, and my vehicle has been in service four times since then. The last two have been longer then 1 week at a time. After picking my vehicle up after it's third time being in service my check engine light comes back 20 minutes down the highway and it's back in service the next day. That was 10 days ago from today. I haven't received one courtesy call updating me on my vehicle the only reason I know sorta what's going on is because I personally went to service myself and asked. This is getting old and out of control I've been stuck in this rental that I hate. I'm missing out on income because I can't get to jobs because I can only driver a certain amount of miles per day due to rental agreements. Hell I can't even eat my lunch on the go on the rental either. I was forced to take my wives car on a family trip with 5 people which was so uncomfortable and tight. The Sales manager at used seems to be looking for another sale asking for a trade in in which I'll ended up with negative equity. Instead of helping me get out or get me something new. I've been forced to go to my Doctor and I was told by him that stress is causing my light headedness and dizziness. I'm over Joseph and something needs to be fixed quickly. read more

Joseph Chevorlet in Colerain is absolutely terrible. I bought my new 2018 Chevy Malibu back in March, before I could even drive my car off the lot it was scratched by one of their lot techs. I brought it home and the scratch was pointed out by my brother. I then contacted the sales rep that sold me my car who acknowledged that he was aware of the scratch and had already had something set up for it to be fixed when I got my sunroof cut in. The company that was hired by Joseph did a crap job on my sunroof, I could hear wind coming into my car. I took it back and they told me nothing was wrong. Two months after I got my car detailed by a friend and they in formed that there was over spray on my car where the scratch had been fixed. So I took my car back up there to have that buffed out and my sunroof looked at again. I got my car back and a few days later I notice a bottle of opened super glue on my floor in my backseat which had leaked all over the carpet. I am completely fed up that my brand new car is being depreciated by them every time I take it there. I went there 10/10 and was told I would be contacted but never got a call back. I called back today and spoke with the new car manager Jacob Shepard. He is a very rude and unprofessional. When telling him about my situation he called me a liar, said what I was saying wasn't true, I couldn't prove they scratched my car and was told we don't do that the entire time. I bought a brand new premium vehicle from Joseph Chevrolet with the normal amount of "pushiness". I brought my vehicle in for the first of two "complimentary" oil changes which they undoubtedly "found" something that needed fixed. But it wasn't until after I was left stranded overnight and had to go 6 days without my car twice that I found out from Chevrolet that not all dealerships choose to participate in optional programs such as putting a spare tire in the trunk among others. Their service department won't even look at your vehicle if you come in with a warranty problem that they can't profit off of. We have gotten similar service from Joseph Toyota. I recommend going to any other dealership. read more

My first experience here was great. Service department was very informative and helpful. My second experience on the other hand. Stopped in because my service engine light came on, so I brought it in to have it checked out before My trip to New York. They kept my car for 4 days. $100 for Parts and $450 for labor. I paid it and thanked them. 2 hours into my trip, light came back on. Called and they told me that it could be 1000 things and that I should not worry. When I returned home I stopped by and they ran diagnostics on my vehicle. Told me it was the same issue as before. A little frustrating that I was without a car for 4 days and paid $550 to not have issue resolved. Service engine light is still on so that's a little stressful, and I can't use the auto start feature on my car. Very nice people, but a very bad experience. I'll head back across town to Castrucci auto for service needs and for future vehicle shopping. read more

Then I when to home depot and saw Josephs and decided to stop just wanted to look and ask price. They would not tell me a price unless I signed a stupid little piece of paper stateing that I would purchase a car if they could met my monthly payment. I gave them a ball park figure and they met the price. How ever they must of thought that I was stupid. I new the piece of paper didnt mean a thing. but they pushed and lied until I signed on the dotted line. We have a 21 ft boat that we pull during the summer. They did not let me see any specs on the car. My dumb ass purchased the traverse. With there promise that they could put a hitch on the car and it would pull the boat. I purchased the car in nov before thanksgiving. They promised a hitch for cost. they are telling me that cost is between 6 and 8 hundred dollars. I priced a Reese hitch for around $400 installed. I decided to let Joseph's chev. to put the hitch on so they are really responsible when it doesnt tow properly. They gave me a life time repair of transmission and engine. I really like the traverse. but I would have bought a more expense car with the options that I wanted as it is the last car I intend to buy in by life time. I also though about going somewhere else and trading it in. there is no following through with the sales people or the managers. You leave message after message without a call back I did get to talk with the asst manager of repairs and got so answers. I just received my seat belt extension around Jan 3. So I have been driving illegally since I bought the car. the seat belt does not fit around me. I am 65 and have purchased many cars in my life time and this is the worst experience I have ever had. By the way I paid to have my car detailed like everyone does when purchasing a car. but they did not take any of the tape of the doors and plastic on the floor. They did tell me to bring it it anytime but it was in and they didnt bother to do it. Joseph Chevrolet's SERVICE department is my first choice of service departments. I moved out of Cincinnati to Kentucky but still go out of my way to have my car serviced by them. And I promise I am not an employee nor getting paid to say this lol. I feel like everyone is eager to actually help vs. just eager to take my money. My most recent time going (2 days ago) I went in for an alignment. I didn't feel my car pulling but noticed a tiny bit of uneven wearing on my front tires. But I knew that I was wayyyy overdue... probably 6 pot holes ago. But with that said, I was only interested in getting the front two aligned (my car is FWD). The service advisor explained why it's beneficial to do all 4, but did not force it on me. I said that if that back was aligned poorly then to let me know & I would do all 4. I feel like any other place would have seized the opportunity to lie to make a quick buck, but when I picked up my car he said the back was fine ! This quality of service is consistent. read more

I recently needed a part for my Trailblazer, but I didn't have the car with me because my son drives it to college. They wouldn't let me order a part without the VIN number, so I told them that I bought the car there and could they please look it up - NO! Can you believe it? This is just one example of many. I have had horrible experiences with Joseph Chevrolet on every occasion. The last encounter was enough for me to break down and write a review. My first experience was for a cylinder compression issue that fell under the power train warranty. After several discussions with GM and the dealer the claim was eventually resolved with a $250 fee. The same issue occurred again and even though the truck was out of warranty the GM customer service representative told me to take the truck to the dealership to be diagnosed. When I called to schedule an appointment and explained situation the serviceman I spoke with said that he talked to his manager and he refused to look at the vehicle as part of a warranty claim. I was given the name of the service manager, Tibi Kelemen, and told to call back at a later time because he was busy. I called several times and left messages and could not reach Tibi and did not receive a call back. Desperate for a resolution I called the Hirlinger Chevrolet service department who went out of their way to address my issue. They were great to work with and dealt directy with the GM customer service rep to provide monetary assistance for the claim. I am blown away at the lack of professionalism and poor customer service that was shown to me at Joseph. I am happy to have found a great dealership(Hirlinger) and will be sure to make them my first choice when shopping for a new vehicle. read more

I want to start by saying that we bought a new car from Joseph Chevrolet. This was neither mine, nor my husband's first time buying a car, or even a new car. This was the first time that we've had an experience like this. We actually stood up two times to leave. At one point, during process, the sales manager yelled at us and told us to sit down and stop wasting his time. While everyone is looking for the best deal, my husband and I both felt that our sales person Trent, had no idea about GM cars or even what he was selling. He actually at one point told me Buick was not a GM car. He also did not listen to our budget, or any other concerns that we had. We were also promised a service deal over the next two years. Which we found out yesterday meant that we were given 4 oil changes. This turns out to be a savings of a whopping $100. We have agreed at this time that with the lack of professionalism, or honesty that we have encountered during this experience, we will not ever buy a car from Joseph Chevrolet, or any other branch of the Joseph franchise. We are enjoying our Chevrolet. So this has nothing to do with Chevrolet. What our sales person, Trent failed to realize that honesty, respect, and knowledge goes a long way. Cars are a big investment and if we are treated well we would have come back to buy cars over the next 50+ years. This, at minimum, is a $200,000 loss to the Joseph franchise. They are liars dishonest and do not stand by their words dirty business dealings habits they have. I'm a very disappointed and unsatisfied client would never ever recommend anybody or somebody I know to buy a car from them. To convince me to buy the car they told me about a program they have with credit acceptance that would help me build my credit still wasn't buying it because interest & monthly payment was too high They say it was high because I have no history on my credit report to not worry about the interest being high after a year with the program I can bring it back and trade it and the interest should be low by then. I pay 14 months only to find everything they told me was a lie and they retract everything they told me just to get me to buy the car They did not trade my car and told me no that's not possible in a year it should be two years also the guy who sold it to me no longer work with them Nobody was interested in satisfying their client or helping they all wash their responsibility from it. As a result I'm stuck with the car that I only got because of what they told me about it being just for a year and trade it back for a better deal after. Joseph Chevrolet and company does not stand by their words they are horrible business wise and don't care about satisfying their clients into coming back for more once they get you to get one of theirs. read more

They took care of 1 recall for me with no issues, but when I called to schedule my 2nd recall 2 months later. I was told they are no longer going to service my vehicles. They are claiming I gave them a poor review from my car purchase. But I know for a fact I never filled out a review. When I called Chevrolet to see how they got a review from me when I never filled one out, the lady told me she would call the dealership to see why they are refusing to service my car. After being on hold for a bit she came back on the line to inform me that they are still refusing to service my cars due to a poor review. I asked her how can they do that. She said they are independently owned and they can make that decision. I called the dealership and spoke with the general manager. He couldn't believe I was told they would not service my vehicles. He said he would check into it and call me back. But when he called me back he said the same thing as the others "you gave us a poor review and we will not service your vehicles". I told him I never filled out the review on the purchase of my cars. But he more less called me a liar. I did not give them a review on the purchase of my 2 cars that we purchased both in the same day. They must be able to pick and choose the customers that they prefer to service. We live 2 minutes from this dealership but now have to drive 20 minutes away to have our vehicles serviced. We will NOT be purchasing another vehicle from them or recommending them to no one!
