Terrific hairstylists who are kind and attentive. Lovely salon, calm, and peaceful.

Joey has been cutting my hair for the past four years, and always does a great job. I made the decision as a working adult that I wanted more than what a traditional barber could offer; I know a lot of people who go to Joey for their hair, and since he does both men's and women's hair I decided to start going to him as well. While the number of staff and clientele have grown since the salon opened, the level of professionalism and customer service has always remained top-drawer. The salon always looks great; it's clean, bright, and gives off a cool feel with comfy purple chairs cast against the white tile floors. One cool feature that Joseph Cara utilizes is online booking; I'm the type of person that likes to make a bunch of appointments way in advance, and I'm able to do that through their online booking system. I'll also get email and text alerts 24 hours before my appointment - ooh! Joey and his staff do a great job - if you're looking for a new salon I would definitely recommend Joseph Cara. read more

Joey has been in charge of my hair for decades, and yet he never ages When I sit down in his chair I know I'm going to leave happier and more confident. Management here is terrible. I was very unhappy with the way my hair came out. After sitting there for 3 hours, it looked exactly the same as when I walked into the salon. I paid a ton of money for absolutely nothing. I expressed that kindly to the manager and she was rude and told me Joesph would call me back, weeks later and they still never called me back. Don't waste your money. read more

I highly recommend Joseph Cara Salon. I have taken my girls to numerous salons where the hairdressers didn't even no how to cut hair. The stylists at Joseph Cara Salon far exceeded my expectations!! Only a special talent can make a woman, no matter how stressed out from a long day either at work or home, emerge feeling like a million dollars. That special talent is Joseph Cara. Joe has been cutting my hair for several years and he also cuts my daughter's hair My hair is short and hers is long and it is cut and colored to perfection every time. I have literally been stopped several times by absolute strangers who admire my cut asking where it was done. So I just got my hair done this past weekend and i absolutly could not be happier. I happen to have dark hair and wanted to do an ombre, I didnt want it too drastic and didnt want the red tint in my hair to come through. It came out better than I could have imagined, Monica dyed and cut it shes amazing. Even my hair cut came out perfect it is exactly what i asked for. I am usually EXTREMELY picky when it comes to my hair and this was the first time i was ever this pleased. I will be going to Joseph Caras salon everytime now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

Many years ago, after Joey did my hair, my Mother-in-Law remarked that He had hands of gold! ( So is his heart ) Platinum is more like it! I have been going to him since he first started doing hair. His cuts are amazing. I have had every kind of style over the years, from pixie short to big and sexy and long and straight, and I have loved them all! Nobody has ever given me a better blow- out! He also does an excellent job with color. He listens and truly cares about his clients. Without fail, I get great compliments about my hair after he does it. Even if I am only getting a color touch up, I always try to have him blow dry my hair because I know that it will look fabulous afterward. And isn't that why we go to a pro? His salon is beautiful and well maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere. I truly enjoy going there and so will you! read more

Do not go to this salon! The colorist tried to do something she couldn't do and should know her capabilities. I had clumps of hair falling out after my visit and went to another salon for corrective care because the salon did not open for two days and then did not call me back right away. It was beyond obvious they already knew why I was calling. Was I supposed to wear a baseball cap to work or take off and lose two days of salary? Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. Unwilling to refund for services provided and refused to reimburse the extravagant expense it was to correct Monica's horrible work. Which I absolutely cannot afford to do. After 5 inches cut off and an additional three hours of repair treatment my hair is finally allowing a brush to go through it without clumps of hair in it nor in my hands. The receptionist/manager Rosemary is completely unprofessional and should learn how to speak to people without being unsympathetic and completely disrespectful. Certainly would not want her as my employee. What a horrible reflection or shall I say just more evidence as to what type of salon it is. One would think that in a reputable place of business they would want to rectify an awful situation as a good business gesture. Their reputation is a farce and they are just horrible and incompetent. Joseph Cara would not even get on the phone and Monica is no where to be found. This salon should never be allowed to service anybody again after the way they not only treated my hair but also treated me. I repeat do not go to this salon if you plan on walking out with healthy hair. read more
